You're from around here? I had no idea. Like you, I was also thinking about catching the Julio-Smith fight, even though I'd have to take the ferry to Van (I hate the ferry) and find a place to stay, but I wasn't able to. One of these days though.
Re: Best fight you have been to?
I have had opportunities fall through for Boxing, been to MMA UFC before, seen Legionaries get kicked in the balls so hard it knocked him out;D
My 1st live fight is coming up next month Going to The Mohegan sun with my girl to see Williams vs Quintana II and Mora vs Forrest on June 7th
Should be a decent night of Boxing
Re: Best fight you have been to?
My only fight to ever see live, I fly to Vegas to see Hatton/Juan U. Also saw Castillo slip through a decision.
It was really really fun. I hooked up with some British people and drank alot.
I would like to see Winky fight sometime, but I am in school and he is getting old so I don't know.

I didn't realize that fight is at the Sun. Sounds like a good excuse for me to take a drive, play some blackjack, and watch Mora and Williams get their asses kicked.
Re: Best fight you have been to?
Well like some of you here, we don't get $hit when it comes to fights here, and I can't afford to travel to fights. So when Don King actually brought a fight card to Cleveland 2 years ago, I jumped on the chance to go.
It was the Lamon Brewster vs Serguei Lyakhovich title fight. I think that I got pretty lucky with this fight, considering there haven't been many great heavyweight fights lately. This was a great fight to see. Both fighters kept getting hurt, and then kept coming back. The crowd was on their feet for most of this fight, and was totally into it. It was also my sons first live fight experience, because I took him for his birthday.
They actually had some decent scraps on the undercard as well.
I keep hearing Uncle Bob saying that he wants to bring a fight to Cleveland for Kelly Pavlik, but unfortunately, he hasn't come through on that yet. :(

Audley Harrison - Donnell Wiggins :cwm13:

For some reason I thought you were from L.A. Diane, I wonder why .

Yeah, I know why you thought that. ;D
But as you can see, I have the Ohio flag by my avatar, and I do have my location listed as "Ohio". ;)
Hell, if I lived in LA, I sure as hell would be going to every big fight there, and in Vegas.

I guess being at all perceptive or literate would've helped me out there. :-\

Bit jealous of anyone who lives close to where big name fights happen. We get nothing here in Butfook Northern Ontario. Don't think we get much in Canada period. I know there was a Steve Molitor fight in Windsor not long ago...:-\ ...

At least you're relatively close to Montreal, where some bigish fights take place. Living on an Island in B.C., I'm about as far away as you can get.
