Re: Hatton vs Lazcano: 10Th RD
Hatton appeared to be hurt from the punch, but he recovered before the ref stepped in. Also the ref didn't look for a reason, Lazcano was pushing him down, and hitting him while the ref was trying to break them.
I don't think it was a factor in the fight. Juan looked worse for wear than Hatton just 30 seconds later.

Alright boys, I'll be the first guy to say it to Ono.
"Your blind dude." :)
His legs were fine, his eyes were clear, he was still coming forward. I've seen every single Ricky Hatton fight and i just dont think he was that hurt. Not even close to being knocked out.
I think you're either influenced by commentary or you've never seen hatton in trouble before.
He was hurt against Vince Phillips (4th round, badly), hurt against Eamon Magee (2nd round) and he was in trouble against Collazo in the 12th especially. The 10th doesn't even compare to them 3 occassions (on all 3 occassions he didn't even go down. To say he was on the verge of being Ko'd (as some are saying on here) is ridiculous.
Also the ref had to break the fighters up as Lazcano was pushing down on his head and hitting him at the same time. Lazcano looked in far worse condition at several times during the fight. Not saying the shot didn't buzz him, but i never got the impression he was particularly hurt.

Once again ono your spot on
Just seen the incident again and if anything lazcano was glad to get the break as hatton completely dominated the round.
Only time ricky looked half troubled was towards the end of the 8th and that was never anything like a possibility of a ref intervening.
Foster could of stepped in countless times during the 7th, 11th and 12th rounds but gave juan the benefit of the doubt because he realised that it was a very tought fought contest.

Imagine Saturdays version of Hatton againsed Tszyu?
I don't think it matters if Hatton never touches a drink or a pie ever again, he won't find his old form, I think the damage is done.
Maybe your just underestimating Lazcano's power remember even if he isn't at his best weight class, he is still a good puncher.
Tszyu hit twice as hard at least and Ricky was never that hurt.
Don't get me wrong Lazcano fought really well and is still a decent fighter (might give Witter a good fight) but Rick has never looked so fragile when caught.

When has Ricky ever been hurt and showed signs of it in the legs? When he was knocked out againsed Floyd he was stood there and then fell sideways all of a sudden. When he is hurt he just freezes and waits for the attack to stop, that's what he did Saturday.

When he was hurt against Collazo, Magee and Phillips, his legs dipped on each occassion. Happened against Maussa aswell.
They'd dip and he'd freeze. On each occassion he'd pull through.
He kept coming forward when we has supposedly out of it on Saturday.

Actually Tszyu made his legs buckle with a right hand and he had to grab. It doesn't matter wether you've been hit by a supposed KO artist or not. Most fighters at world class have the ability and power to KO almost anybody. It just depends how the punch lands.

WTF is wrong with you dumb Hatton cunts. Look I really like Hatton, but the Hatton fans around here will turn anyone into a hater. Are you serious. Are you a fucking retard. that is a rhetorical question by the way.
Yeah I am sure that Lazcano was real happy that the ref intervened when Hatton was hurt...
You are a moron. May God have mercy on your soul.

Well from being at the fight i can tell you the 8th round is the only time i thought he was hurt. I still can't decide what hurt him. A left hook to the chin landed but it didn't look that solid. A body shot also landed as did a low blow. Either way he was stumbling forward into the corner. But once again he was fine a few seconds later so he may have just been off balance.
It's not unusual to see Hatton buzzed.....he recovers very quickly. The time to worry is the time he doesn't recover very quickly.
I'd be worried if i saw him showing signs of being hurt for half a round.
Re: Hatton vs Lazcano: 10Th RD
An yes I negative repped you for your dumb hatton post. If you all want to try to gang up on the booze I guess bring it on. Because I have one thing on my side: truth and reason.

Is that aimed at me?
Either way your post just made you sound like a 12 year old you tube poster.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Personally don't think he was that hurt. You think he was. End of discussion.
No need to speak to people like that. Makes the site look stupid when you start laying into the newer members like that.
Re: Hatton vs Lazcano: 10Th RD
I see nothing wrong in round 10. Hatton got rocked, and recovered. The shoe lace had to be retied.
Re: Hatton vs Lazcano: 10Th RD
It make the site look stupid when you all post stupid things. I was directing it at Hattonthehammer. I will leave your all's post alone now.

Exactly.
He was with it enough to duck underneath a Lazcano lead right hook. I think he got buzzed, but he had recovered by the time the Ref seperated them the first time. The he ducked underneath the hook and Lazcano used his forearm to keep Hatton down.
The lace had to be tied.
