Why do English people have to study New England states?
i was trying to think of a reason to visit NH.. and besides skiing i couldn't think of one..
if you ski, then you should go to NH.. Vermont, Maine.. all good for that.. otherwise, they're not my favorite.. nice little towns mixed in throughout though.
Joe Horn didn't get jail time for murder did he? If it was my house they'd broken into, and someone shot the crooks that broke in, I would personally help pay for the lawyer for their defense and testify in court that he should be found not guilty.
I love how people go all ape shit over a random act of violence and then blame it on the region does the dipshit who made this thread know anything about the region:rolleyes:
I guess you guys missed the video of a cop wrestling with someone on drugs in plain day with like 20 people walking buy and not helping out... Wake up people this shit happens everywere from beverly hills till cow fucking regions were Lyle is from;D
Pride is right, I am from CT and live 20 min West from Hartford. Hartford is a Major Metro town and the Capital of CT of cource it is the political epicenter as well as a big venue(Civic Center) best resteraunts, bars, nightclubs, theatre, museums art galleries etc. Like New Haven its were all the action is and fun you can have.. Again as Pride had mentioned there are some destitute areas as well. What happen to this guy was a shame but could have happened anywere but Hartford is is not the scumbag Capital of the world:rolleyes:
From what I've heard, New York is supposed to be the worst place (where people don't stop to help, etc.). I've never been there, so I don't know.
That is just odd. I remember in school they tell you about this famous case where this women was being attacked (I think stabbed) outside her apartment in NYC (I think) a long time ago and she was making a bunch of noise and obviously people were aware but nobody did anything and she ended up dying. Can't remember her name but its a well known story. They argue that some were just scared to help and also that people just assumed that someone else would do something. BTW I may have totally butchered that story but its something like that.
But this, there's nothing (a guy with a knife for example) to scare away somebody from helping. Just odd.
On a side note my dad was born in Hartford. Not that it matters.
On TV I saw where in a restraunt this tall 350 lbs. black man was beating a white guy for no reason (because his noisy wife was complaining about him so he started beating him), and there were other people around and no body did anything to help. Even the host of the show (I believe it was Disorderly Conduct: Video On Patrol) mentioned that no body was doing anything. :(
The loud-mouth wife got 2 years in jail, and the big tall man got 4 years.
They used to have the Hartford Whalers which was like the coolest Sports logo ever.
Kill the seals but save those big fat funky whales.
