Re: Looks like Bute-Andrade is on
A lot of people under-rating Bute on here, honestly he is a good good fighter with good skills.
Re: Looks like Bute-Andrade is on
Unless Andrade is a bit lucky and catches Bute and KO's him Bute should box his ear's off. Look what Bute done to another tough iron chinned fighter aka Sakio Bika he took him too the cleaners and beat him far more convincing than anyone else has in his entire career. I've watched most of Bute's fights on youtube he is very skilled and is the dark horse of the division trust me, and unless he makes a silly error he should out box Andrade quite clearly over 12.

I agree completely, I don't think this fight will be very competitive at all. I know it's not likely, but I think Bute might even be able to stop Andrade.

Come ooooooooon Librado bring your A game.
I remember when I 1st read Librado vs. Kess I was torn between which side to choose. But in the end I favored Kess, now that they've moved on it's great to see them both back in action and wining.
Librados def. a fav. of mine and to be honest who know maybe a rematch vs. Kess down the line would be great. :)

No it wouldn't. I see the same outcome. Still I see Andrade beating Bute. With minimal trouble

I say why not, Librado showed lots of heart and he got good money the fight was entertaining and in an interview Librado said he would love to get in there a 2nd time with Kess he said this time he'd do things a lot different. However I think Kess beats him again but I just would like to see Librado try and redeem himself as I'm sure it would make for a really good fight.
Re: Looks like Bute-Andrade is on
I guess its 100 percent official now...
Bute-Andrade on Oct 24!
IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (22-0, 18 KO) can count on the support of his ever-growing fan base when he laces up the gloves for his mandatory title defense bout against Librado Andrade (27-1-0, 21 KO). InterBox was able to close a deal with Andrade's promoter Golden Boy Promotions to have Librado fight Bute on October 24th at the Montreal Bell Centre. "There is a big challenge awaiting me on October 24th and I am thrilled that I will have the support of my fans at the Bell Centre," said Bute. "Andrade is well known here in Montreal. He is a good boxer and I respect him but I have no doubt that I will be the one wearing the IBF belt after the fight." Andre stated, "Bute is good and he will have the crowd on his side, but that will not be enough. My boxing skills will make sure I leave Montreal with the IBF belt around my waist." Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10AM.

I think he's one of the rare breed guys who actually enjoys pain, like mick Foley.;D
Re: Looks like Bute-Andrade is on
Andrade is the man. Built his way up about as real as you can. Don't see him losing to a glorified prospect. Will be cheering for Andrade.
