This is the second time my eyes have teared up this morning.

Was that a loss, sure, in the eye of many boxing experts and fans (I include myself) but still, other boxers tried to implement the same thing of pressuring him to the ropes, etc. And what? No luck. So we can't really say that the ropes or pressure is his weakness. There are boxers who show the same flaw in their fights and get exposed over and over regardless of them winning (boxers who get cut all the time, having a glass chin/jaw, slow, etc.). Same thing applies to Mayweather. He "lost" against Castillo but it doesn't necessarily show that he has a weakness or flaw seen in every single fight. He made a point when he said why he got the nick "Pretty Boy" and coming out clean in his fights.

Anyone who hates Cotto is out of their mind! He's one of the most exciting fighters today, he gradually gets more and more skilled each fight, he gets in the ring with the best opponents, and he's humble. MOST IMPORTANTLY, HE JUST FIGHTS! There are countless boxers that just run their mouths but Cotto is one of few that just train, then fight, then keeps to themselves.
The only way I'll ever see someone hating on him to be justified is if Cotto beat their favorite boxer.
