Thank god we have a referee that knows the difference between infighting/fighting from the clinch and spoiling and holding.
I just want a ref that lets the fight up close and slug it out, those two peanuts Cortez and Nady seem not to know the difference.
Worst headline referees in the game.
Come on. Lets not be too hard on Cortez (I hope it was Cortex who said that so I don't look like a tw@t). He was looking after his gay fantasy in PBF when he said it was a pleasure to ref one of his fights.
As for Nady he allowed Holt to headbutt his way to victory.
Bayliss I think is a good choice and I believe he even knows at least 10 words of Spanish. uno, dos, tres......
This is a good choice. I was hoping for Bayless or Weeks, as I think they are head and shoulders above everyone else in Nevada imo.
I forgot who I was talking to about how Bayless yells in the face of the fighter that gets knocked down.

Cortez should look into ref'ing the wwe. I'm fair but i'm firm, jeeeesuuus. There's got to be a court show out there with his name on it...i don't actually have any real glaring hate for the guy but he's constantly involved in controversy, nice to see one more possible excuse for either side thrown out the window.

Caiz reffed De La Hoya-Forbes and has reffed a ton of fights in So Cal which I'm guessing is why Mick is familiar with him.
I like how Bayless tries to be very official, from giving locker room instructions to trying to make himself clear in "Spanish." I always laugh when I think about the fight when two spanish speaking boxers were fighting and he was warning about watching the clash of heads and he kept saying "la cabeza! la cabeza!"
