Re: Just watched Mayweather-Juuko
Crap! I think I just fell and hit my head here.
You guys realize this is Justin Juuko right, the one were using to evaluate PBF at 130.
Out of all the fighters he fought at 130 the Juuko fight is the one we're using.
Also in regards to PBFs natural weight and him being a natural SFW give me a few while I dig up a brilliant reply to that I've seen it here somewhere.
Be back in a few...
Re: Just watched Mayweather-Juuko
Well the Juuko bout was an opportunity for Mayweather to showcase his skills, which he had on full display that night. No one is saying it's his best win. He wasn't a natural 130, more like a natural 140 imo.

I'm not even sure what your trying to say, but I just brought up this fight because it was the random fight I decided to watch. I am not saying it is a trade mark of Mayweather's career, but it was just an example of him dominating solid competition. Of course his wins against Chavez, Corrales, G.Hernandez were more significant and more impressive, but this was a good win as well. Also how can you argue with PBF being a natural SFW? He fought more fights at SFW then he has foughten in all other weight classes combined.
Re: Just watched Mayweather-Juuko
Come on guys, let's be realistics:
1. Castillo fought Mayweather at 140 and is smaller than Margarito and not stronger. THus, Margarito's body punches would be more effective (and Castillo really won the first fight, by the way).
2. Margarito is more of a body attacker than Castillo, simply because he is (and he's stronger).
3. Hatton was a blown up junior welter. Slower and less powerful. In those clinches (there were so many), Hatton was able to land many body shots. Do you really think Mayweather will be able to clinch effectively with a stronger guy like Margarito? For 12 rounds?
4. Did you see de la Hoya's body attack (something he is not known for)? He went to Floyd's body like a little bitch. Rat-a-tat-tat.
5. Baldomir is a light hitter. Any body attack he makes tickles more than hurts and he is also slower than mollasses. Of course Floyd is not going to let Baldomir near him.
6. Simply put, Margarito is a stronger and better fighter than Hatton and Baldomir. I would never use them to judge how Margarito would do against Mayweather. He has the best chance of landing one rib breaking body shot that can end the fight.
Re: Just watched Mayweather-Juuko
1. Mayweather, and Castillo fought at 135
2. Castillo at that point was way better than Margarito will ever be.
3. Castillo is one of the best body punchers I've ever seen, he has quicker hands than Margarito he moves faster, and he goes to the body more effectively. It is ridiculous to say Margarito is a better body puncher, he is way too tall to be a comparably skilled body puncher, he doesn't have that great left hook Castillo has.
4. Second Hatton didn't land a whole lot of body shots on MAyweather at all, watch the fihgt again... Hatton didn't landa whole bunch of anything on Floyd.
5. Oscar did alright work on Floyd's body, but it had no effect on Mayweather, and Oscar landed good body shots on Forbes as well... Margarito doesn't hit harder than Oscar so I don't see how this proves that MArgarito's body attack would work on Mayweather.
6. Baldomir doesn't hit very hard, but your argument for why he wasn't successful against Mayweather, his lack of speed, is exactly why Margarito would have no chance against Mayweather, at least Baldomir had timing, Margarito doesn't have timing or speed, good look hitting Mayweather with neither of those.
7. Margarito is not stronger than Baldomir, nor is he a better fighter than Hatton who is 4x faster, 2x the better boxer in comparison to Tony. Tony has dreadful technique, he is slow as hell, the two things he has going for him is that he throws a ton of punches and he is tough as hell, but you need a lot more than that to beat a great fighter like Mayweather or Miguel Cotto.
8. You have no idea what your talking about RIcan so just stop now.
