Boxing strips you right down to the basics and there is no where to hide. There's no shame in being exposed in sparring by a more experienced fighter - learning how to deal with those feelings is actually a positive thing - although it doesn't like it at the time ;D.

Sounds like you took your lumps and came back so good on you - but don't let anyone take advantage - you won't learn anything if more experienced guys are beating on you every session - all you'll get is a nose that lloks like it's trying to escape from your face ;)
