It's not about people being pissed if he took that fight but people would be pissed if he won. Just look at how much people dislike him here and then imagine if he won. This place would be as sour as when Cotto got a beating and people would be looking for excuses on why he won "Tony was having sentimental problems...Tony was not feeling good...".

Less money with Pac. No, it’s the other way around and same reason why Mayweather didn't fight him. Tony doesn't bring as much money to the table compared to Pac. Pac and ODLH can bring lots of dough.

JCC passing the torch to ODLH is different in this case. I just don't see Margo offering the same as ODLH in all aspects: boxing skills and media attention.
