Re: how do you remember barrera?
I am a Morales man because MAB sucker punched him but was a big fan of MAB and his fight with McKinney was one of the most exciting fights around. His first fight with Morales was the best fight I have ever seen. So I guess he was quite good.
Re: how do you remember barrera?
My all time favorite fighter. He could do it all...brawl as well as anyone, box as well as anyone, or do both. Intelligent, proud, and resilient. He was able to adapt his style for the occasion and is responsible for some of the most memorable fights in boxing history.
Re: how do you remember barrera?
Barerra, simply was A Fucking Great Fighter That is all ;D

He came back from Jones defeat and should have got the return . He twice avenged the Morales defeat but I dont think he should have lost the 1st one anyway . Not Only did he take Eriks zero but he dominated another undefeated p4p superstar in Naseem Hamed . Who else beats unbeaten superstars like Barrera did ? The Marquez fight could have gone Barreras way if justice prevailed and in the Pac rematch Barrera showed he could cruise through 12 rounds without ever being troubled even though he was past his best.
He had thrillers with Kenndey Mckinney and was in the best fight ever vs Morales. He punched both those guys in the face pre fight to add a little spice so the man was a master who knew what he was doing
Very inteligent, trained to be a lawyer, played for Mexicos second division soccer team, then he was part of the fastest rising promotional company, he had a longer shelf life at the top than any of his rivals and has been described by over seas impartial media as " unbeatable"
The man was amazing and Im gutted I never got to see him when he came over to England to destroy Paul Lloyd inside a round
Marco Antonio Barrera
the greatest of them all
Very nice post.
