Outdoor cats and kittens are fine, once they become grown and fat they lose all their playfulness. We used to have a cat named Mr. Biggelsworth that would kill moles, rats and snakes in the corn field next to us. Real, real active cat. If I could have another cat like him I would. Unfortunately, my brothers thought it would be funny to train like a killer cat. So he would always attack you. He would be at the other end of the room and you would catch him staring at you, if you turned your head quickly or something or moved he would pounce. My dog used to HATE it, they had battles all the time. One time a bird tried to come down and grab it up and the stupid shit jumped at the bird, I was outside playing basketball I had to put my neck on the line grabbing the cat and hurrying him inside before he became to brave for his own good.
Active cats are the way to go. When we moved to California, all the snobs that lived there would ask "my god, do you feed your cat?", he was pretty skinny but just because he never sat still. All their cats would just lay down all day. I hate that, really really hate that.
Cats are much more pleasing to the eye imo, how they move, how they stalk and they definitely don't have the complex personalities of dogs imo which in a way is cool if it has the right personality.
Dogs are the answer but I do have a love/hate relationship with cats as I've outlined. My grandpa lives on a bunch of land and has a barn out here in the back and a field and there are a couple ferrel cats that live in there. They never bother me, one of them is called Begger my grandma started feeding him like 8 years ago and he's still alive. He's very cat but a very good looking cat. The other is orange and he reminds me of Bigglesworth. When I smoke here it's usually in the barn or in the tree line at the back fence. I try to stay out of it's way, I've seen him stalking stuff in the field next to us before which is a great thrill to watch especially when high.
I COULD'NT PICK WHICH ONE I LIKE THE MOST BECAUSE I USED TO OWN A CAT AND A DOG AT THE SAME TIME AND THEIR REALLY GOT ON WITH ONE ANOTHER WHICH WAS GREAT.MY LOVELY DOG CALLED "TESS" HAS BEEN PASSED FOR 2YEARS NOW BLESS HER:eek:** BUT I STILL HAVE MY CAT CALLED "TOM".HE IS ONE IN A MILLION I TELL YOU!!HE ACTUALLY TALKS TO YOU AND WILL NEVER SHUT UP.HE'S ABOUT 7YEAR OLD AND STILL ACTS LIKE A KITTEN;D

I was in France last week(Marseille) and there was a fella taking his cat for a walk on a lead!!!
I like them both. Ive grown up with dogs and cats but Ive spent years with neither. Its the dog I felt most sad about domestically. 7years ago he was such a strong animal. I went home last and he was old and weak. A year later he was dead. Cremated.
He was decent.
Both,for different reasons
Dogs are loyalty personified
Cats, make you feel good about yourself, just because they think your cool to hang out with. Not to mention,a rumbling purr will lull you right to sleep
True!I've always had a dog and cat throughout my life(27years)but in the last two years since my dog past away,i have'nt got another dog since.I think its because we have our cat that keeps me soo occupied and busy that i dont need to have a dog yet, anyhow!I really do miss going jogging and walking with the dog tonnes though.I will get another dog sooner or later. My last dog was top draw, their have all been great dogs!

I love the big cats like jaguars and puma's; but domestic cats irritate me. They are so difficult to work with if they are ill and too stupid to realize you are trying to help them and will bite and scratch the sh#t out of someone.
One of my ex's had 6 cats and I'd come home from work and there she'd be smoking pot with all her stupid animals purring on the couch next to her. What a great day when I booted her and those lazy pussy's out.
I've been around pit bulls almost my whole life and there are no dogs I'd own over a bulldog. Loyal, gentle, easy to care for if injured. I've had pit bulls tore up after a hog hunt and they would just lay there and let me staple them up or stick needles in them and not even attempt to bite; just lick my hand. I had to improvise once and sew 2 tits up on a female pit after they were hanging there from a boar that cut her up; I had to use fishing line and a needle and it hurt her but not even a little nibble. Try doing that with a punk ass cat and your face will look like it fell in a meat grinder in about 10 seconds.
Nice name is'nt it?Our Tess was a cross breed bitch. She had a lovely temperament. She would'nt be nasty whatsoever and learnt loads of tricks really quick too.Believe it or not but she could spell to!When she'd get dirty from a walk out on the beach and she was ready for a wash down,i'd spell out B,A,T,H and she would look at me with sad cute puppy face and run up stairs into the bathroom and wait to get washed.True!:)
Guys and gals, thanks for the replies. You can tell a lot about a person by whether they like cats, dogs, both or another animal:LOS:
My Pit Bull is one of the symbols of the gym,I need fighters to tell me when their coming here though,he has an unfortunate tendency to widdle.
And heaven forbid your doing crunches in the gym, because both cats suddenly become the best friend you ever had, opportunists the pair of them
No they are not illegal. If they were do you think I'd be on here talking about them?;D
They are slowly getting banned in city's across the U.S. It's unconstitutional to try and pass breed specific bans for the whole country, so the b#tches in govt. just try to get representatives from each state to get officials from each county and city to start passing ban laws. They will be eventually banned because we are run by a bunch of half boy/half girl sensitive b#tches.
