It's just something to say to sell the fight. The actual fight itself is a joke however even if it wasn't PPV. Ricky Hatton had nearly 40 fights before Tszyu and we could easily see the same thing happen with Khan. As long as they're selling tickets and PPVs they'll keep matching him with guys like this.
I don't care if this kid had the biggest PPV rating ever fact is....PPV buys don't make you a great....
Hell I could make a show with a camcorder and petition the companies to make it a PPV movie purchase.....
Tell you what Khan before you start saying you are with the greats beat at least a has been;)
