Anyway I agree with the idea, I get tired of talking about the same guys the whole time.
BTW what happened to Aguininga, bit of a fatty but skilled.
Damn! Ouma... You dug this shit out from 2005. :o
4 out of 8 that I listed have gone on to become title holders....
About Aguiniga I've lost my interest in him it appears that his management are content with him fighting the same level of opposition and not stepping up.
"A bit of a fatty" :lolhaha: He balloned up all the way to Lighweight for one of his fights...

This is a great project from before I was a member of this club. A look into the distant past.
So, Mick was always a good contributer.

I remember this post very well.
I came on here and there was like 6 different threads on JT vs. B-Hop and there was a shit load of mythical matchups which are cool every now and then and even then the shit that was being posted was garbage...
A bunch of "IF's and But's" and I guess I was just tired of reading the same shit for the past weeks and I started typing away some names of prospects I had seen and or had been following.
You can see how much Juan Diaz changed from 2005 to today he didn't always have the workrate he has today. Luevano just became a lot better with his style.

Gotta admit tired of the same old same old...Pac, PBF, Klitschko etc myself...funny thing is not much has changed since this started lol...
On your list though Andrade is my favorite...Just can not figure the guy out...Is he good or is he just solid?...His chin is granite....Better then just about anyone else's in the sport...The guy takes a shot that makes you turn your head it is so hard yet barely stumbles...He is getting soo much better all around as well...Even since the Kessler bout less then ayr ago...IMO he claims some sort of world title gold by 2010...just an opp
Chad Dawson is a guy who has the skills to run the LHW division soon as the media can get off the tip of Hopkins
Well I gotta say it has gotten better since then.
For starters threads about 'Naz vs. ____________ (insert name)' have gone down in numbers compared to what they used to be. So that's a great thing there.
I couldn't help it but think of 'Yaqui' Lopez as I saw Andrade fight. Solid fighter can give anyone a damn good fight but just falls short because the guys around him are just a little better then him.
I hope I'm wrong and I hope Andrade reaches a title he deserves it and if he continues to work hard at it he will.

I remember that, when Northside accounted for every single topic started on the board. And the mythical matchups were the worst.
We had a good topic going about prospects about a year ago. I would like to take a look at that to see who was on there and how they've fared.

Hey CutMeMick , you have reason , is true ,sometimes you are getting tire in talking about the same guys , but it depend how much you knows of such boxers that you mentioned in first thread for develop a good tale about of them , in my case i just met Librado Andrades because i saw him fighting with R.Steinglitz , Juan P.DLeon because i seen some of his fights and from Juan Diaz too including to Dawson , was a good point that you brought here , because allow you to knows another boxer that you never seen and heard , but other point is that i see some of our friends have an a specific line of Boxing Division and like to talk about the latest news that comes too , good point of view Mick........;D

Spot on amat, it was N.SideX4 who was making up every mythical matchup you can possibly think of....

I think it's great when people post sutff on up and comers and new talent we get a glimpse of the future superstars of the sport.
I'm sure you've seen Steven Luevano.
Did you see the undecard fights for the JMM vs. Pac II?
He fought on that card.

Yeah good list. I've seen all but:
Jose Aguiniga (28-0) NABA-Bantamweight Champ. Out of La Colonial Boxing gym (Oxnard) home of Fernando Vargas. He needs to improve on his defense he gets hit to much. Can he improve in time before he faces top fighters?
Or at least don't remember seeing him.

I really think Andrade can stay around for a a bit and could pull off some surprises. He showed some subtle Shifts and small Improvements with Defense and Turning it on in spots Saturday as opposed to his previous Full throttle assault. The uppercuts from the out side make me wince waiting for a counter but when he gets them working in combinations They are vicious.Someone had mentioned it prior but for as much as he takes,He does not seem to mark or bust up at all.?

Yeah I was bored and I just went to the back page. Found some shady posts of my own, one that was allegedly by me and may have implied something along the lines of the fact that Malignaggi had a chance to pull an upset over Cotto :-X Allegedly.
