Meaning the same guys who used to put Kev on a pedestal are now shitting on him, as if he can no longer amount to anything.

Kev got a tough fight coming up against Sykes and that shows how serious he is about getting back on track. He could have took on an easier fight but instead, he chooses Sykes.
