I'd have to say Duran when he was at lightweight. Also, Hagler. Mind you, maybe that's because I've just finished reading 'Four Kings'. A brilliant book. Top quote - 'Billy Hearns was taunting Hagler from across the ring. Seemingly oblivious, Marvin continued to shadow-box. " I saw him", recalled Hagler later. "I was thinking right then 'all you're gonna do is get your brother's ass kicked' ".
Sonny Liston 1963
George Foreman 1973
Bennie Briscoe mid 70's
Aaron Pryor
Marvin Hagler
Roberto Duran 70's
Mike Tyson 1987
Roberto "If I'm in shape next time I send him to the morgue" Duran.
Iran Barkley.
Nigel Benn.
George Foreman.
Joe Fraizer
Mike Tyson
Ray Mercer the night he fought Morrison.
Marvin hagler and Sonny Liston are probably the scariest people you could have ever come across IMO.
George Foreman adopted his cold stare from Sonny, and he's another man who was very scarey. Lyle was scarey as hell too
Frazier was also scary.
Looking at Edison Miranda can be pretty scarey, he's so dark and ugly.
But believe it or not.. No one was scarier than Ali.
He looked at you and talked right to you like he was crazy.
He'd show up at your gym, hell even your house and talk talk talk.
He just didn't seem sane.. and he got into alot of peoples heads - that's scary.
Hands down i think Ali was the scariest, honestly. I think a lot of people fear men who are fearless.
Anyone remember Paul "Scrap iron" Ryan? Looked well handy and a proper wrong un but didnt his ability didnt match.
