Re: British v. American Rivalry
I root for every British fighter bar Junior Twitter.
Re: British v. American Rivalry
Listen: I probably, more-often-than-not, root for the American. But, not always. Some fighters are hard not to like. For example, no one is without deficiencies, but I've always found Ricky Hatton to be very likeable.

Its boxing not country vs country its got nothing to do with how patriotic you are. Im very proud to be English but im also a true boxing fan, so i root for the fighter who i like the most in there ring, for whichever attribute i like the most, not because of what country they come from.
Good call.

Its about the fighters all the way for me.
Fucking Koreans ave got to ya, you aint talking sense ;D
That is a distinct possibilty, but those are my two favorite fighters. Ive never bet against them and I love their styles. Superb boxers, the both of them. And David Haye is possibly the most unlikeable person since Peter Andre. Hope he gets sparked.

So you root for a cocky, loud mouth boring fighter in Junior Witter ? All because he's British. He's actually a disgrace to Britain. When Timothy Bradley landed that over hand right I was literally jumping up and down.

Whats the point in going over this again with you ? i tried to discuss this reasonably yesterday. And you reduced yourself to insulting me, and acting like a child trying to bait me in saying crap like "stumble"
Re: British v. American Rivalry
boxing's never been a patriotic thing with me honestly, I stayed up till four in the morning to watch the US win the gold in basketball so there are sporting events I get patriotic about, just for whatever reason its never really been that way with boxing.
Re: British v. American Rivalry
I mean if you get wrapped up in that stuff then you're forced to do distasteful things like root for fucking Carl Froch.

I think you'll find it's your self rightgeous, I am the oracle of all things boxing nobody else is ever right posting style that causes conflict with me.
Re: British v. American Rivalry
Big H would you still root for all of your home fighters if Paulie Malignaggi was born in London ;D
He got a hair cut in the middle of a fight, that has to be taken into consideration.

I don't make out i know everything nor do i make out im always right, you basically implyed i was traitor in the last thread. I let it go and just debated back, then you took it a step further and forced me to defend myself. Then when you couldn't debate back, you took the easy way out and started acting like a child.

The traitor post was blatantly a joke, but if the shoe fits ;) I'll debate with you anytime about Boxing or anything else you fancy ;)
Re: British v. American Rivalry
I can't really recall any of my favourite non-British fighters fighting one of ours.
Barrera beating Hamed was hilarious, 'cause he was a bit of a tit ;D
I always liked Holyfield but I wanted Lewis to beat him.
I can't actually think of any American fighters I like at the minute anyway, they're all arrogant and over-hyped -well, apart from Floyd... he's just arrogant :lickish:
