Round 1 - Roy Jones
Round 2 - Even
Round 3 - Joe
Round 4 - Roy
Round 5 - Roy
Round 6 - Joe
Round 7 - Joe
Round 8 - Big Roy round, he commanded the ring like a champion
Round 9 - Roy round, better work from Superman, landed better
Round 10 - Joe C - Good work and combos
Round 11 - Joe C - Roy didn't do anything
Round 12 - Roy - Joe ran off.
115 Roy Jones - 113 to Calzaghe
Roy Jones Junior blatantly won the fight, and here are the 10 REASONS WHY
1) Calzaghe hardly landed, ever. Hitting elbows and gloves doesn't count.
2) Calzaghes punches had nothing on them.
3) Fighting with a lot of blood on you makes you look super hard, which in turn means you are winning.
4) Calzaghe couldn't do anything when Roy Jones stuck his jab out.
5) Calzaghe was easy to hit. Especailly when he stood in front of Roy with his hands by his sides.
6) Roy Jones is almost 40. This means he deserves more credit.
7) Counter punchers count much more then slaps on the side.
8) Joe C should have been disqualified for show boating.
9) Roy Jones should be given more credit for show boating.
10) Sugar Ray Robinson won rounds without throwing a single punch. So did Willie Pep. Roy Jones won an entire fight without throwing a single punch. That is something.
But I guess Roy Jones loosing the decision is just, because we all remember the stinky decision he got given to him. Against of course, the true Heavyweight Champion, John Ruiz.

Re: Roy Jones Junior - Robbed against Calzaghe
You can name maybe five occurence that you can remember off hand where Calzaghe truly tagged Roy? I can name the 4 times in a row Roy countered Calzaghe with right hands, the number times he tagged Calzaghe with the right hand. That knockdown punch, the uppercut, his flurry off the ropes in the round 2. This is just off hand, I don't konw what else to say, Calzaghe obviously won the fight, but I am seeing it closer everytime I watch it.

Are you still drunk from Roy losing, drowning your sorrow.
1. Compubox says different
2. Maybe, maybe not but if they were nothing why did RJJ just cover up
3. fighting with with a lot of blood doesn't mean your hard and dererve extra points
4. About 5 times in the whole fight
5. Yes he was, so why didn't RJJ thow more
6. Being 40 doesn't deserve more cedit, when you fight like that it means you should retire
7. Different judges see things differently, when your a judge you can score it what way you want.
8. He should have been DQ for getting up in the 1st ound too
9. Now your talking pure shit
10. He didn't win this fight.
All though i do applaud you for all the shit thats coming out of your mouth.
I didn't have to cook lunch ;D
Hahahahahahahahaa brilliant bud!!!

Re: Roy Jones Junior - Robbed against Calzaghe
I wish Cortez woulda ref'd this match. It could have been a lot closer. Overall I think he would have won more rounds then both fighters combined.
That is my opinion, fair but firm.

You are completely out of your tree if you really think it was in any way close. And lets not forget that Calzaghe cruised down the stretch out of respect for Roy. Jones Jr could have been stopped anytime Calzaghe wanted to truly turn it up, but he was just showing off in there toying with Jones.
Re: Roy Jones Junior - Robbed against Calzaghe
Well said Miles .. JC was enjoying his self out there ... living the boyhood dream and reveling in it ... and why not, he was good enough and or Jones was poor enough on the night which allowed JC to do that..
:badass::badass::badass:
Joe Calzaghe had a long count
Guys, I come here to speak the truth, and I have some shocking new thruths.
Remember when Roy whacked out Calzaghe?? Took him down in the first round? You remember it, a big right hand plus forarm put the iron chinned Super Joe C down for the count.
THE FULL COUNT! JOE CALZAGHE WAS ON THE FLOOR 15 SECONDS!!
Wrap it up men, Joe C was officially knocked out. This is the biggest injustice I have witnessed. Khan got a fast count, Joe C got a super long one.
I figured he was out when I watched it live, I myself like to pretend I am in the ring with them (although I would never actually fight, I don't want to risk chapping my man-hands) and thus I threw myself onto the floor like to emulate Joe C and then I also tried to get back up.
Turns out, apart from spilling my glass of warm milk with a little extra kick in it (sugar) I was rolling around on the floor collecting dog hairs for 15 whole seconds.
What can I say, Roy Jones did it again.

Fantana
