He caught Manny off balance, that is different than being stunned, there are plenty of times where Pacquiao will get hit off balance and either look like a wounded animal or somebody badly hurt, when he actually is just fighting to regain his balance. That extreme shift is what gives him power in his punches, but it also makes him unstable underneath.

Pac has been visibly hurt, without seriously jelly-legged, on a number of occasions against Marquez, Barrera 2nd fight (or was he play acting?) and Larios.. that doesn't bode well for him against Oscar at all.

Him fighting 10-14 pounds above his best weight isn't some big heroic deed. He's doing it for the huge MONEY. ANY fighter from 130 or 135 would fight Oscar given the chance, without hesitation, for the MONEY. Pacs exciting style and status have allowed them to SELL a good fight.

As said p4p ive got calzaghe out ahead in top spot at the moment and i dont expect pacquaio to change that on the 6th.
Most of these p4p lists are constructed by american journalists who view the lighter weights with rose tinted glasses.

:rolleyes:cause his not at all. jmm should be king if pac loses. if jc pac or jmm were at the same weight classes, jc would lose. these guys hit a lot harder a lot faster and came up the harder way that made them tough as iron no matter where they fight. Can you honestly say jc is the same?

Calzaghe is the best p4p fighter but If Pac beats Oscar he can make a very good case for replacing him .

I've always thought JoeCal was the P4P #1. Since Golden Boy owns RING now, I wouldn't be surprised if they bumped Oscar up anywhere from 6-10. It's funny to me how when Golden Boy purchased RING they said that they wouldn't have any influence on the rankings. But EVERYONE has JoeCal at either #1 or #2. NOBODY really has Juan Manuel at #2 especially after he lost. Yet the RING still has him at #2. There's no way that JoeCal, the undefeated undisputed former super middleweight and current light heavyweight champion of the world, should be behind Juan Manuel Marquez. No fucking way.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the future RING under Golden Boy actually started charging sanctioning fees and awarding real title belts. I really see no reason for Golden Boy to purchase RING magazine unless they had something bigger planned.

I think I worst I've seen him hurt in a while was the body shot Marquez hit him with in round 8 of those second fight. Pac covered up BIG TIME and fell against the ropes.
When I first watched the fight I saw Marquez land it and saw Pac's reaction and I thought Marquez would knock him down.

If De La Hoya wins nothing changes. He still doesn't deserve to be in the Top Ten P4P list as he has not been active enough and he has lost the major fights of late.
Pacquiao would still remain no 1 P4P becuase of the HUGE challenge that he has taken on.
However, if Pacqiao wins then you have to consider Pacquiao as possibily one of the all-time greats, and I can asure you I don't hand out the all-time great title like sweets in a sweet shop!

to be fair pacman should go down maybe 5 spots.
