Al Pacino in Godfather and Scarface
Kevin Spacey in Se7en
Malcom McDowell in Clockwork Orange
Jack Nicholson in The Shining
Michael Douglas in Wall Street...he doesn't kill anyone but he's a cold blooded bastard
If you think the character Patrick Bateman(Christian Bale) in American Psycho is evil in the movie then you will be shocked when you read the book.
There's another movie called Falling Down, where Douglas plays a meek, white collar somewhat nerdy type, who snaps and goes vigilante, kills all sorts of scumbags in a cold and ruthless manner. A better movie than the Death wish series, which IMO was kind of gratuitous with its violence.
Bronson was a beast.

Re: Most Cold Blooded Performances By An Actor
Rutger Hauer in Night Hawks. He did some serious killing in that one.

Man I haven't seen this movie in forever I use to love this movie. I do agree O-Dog was one cold blooded dude. Quote from the movie "Americas worst nightmare Young black and just don't give a fek"
A few other roles
Kevin Bacon - Death Sentance (right after his son and family gets killed)
Denzell Washington - American Gangster (When he shot that guy in the head in the day time in the middle of the street)
Joe Pesci - Casino
Re: Most Cold Blooded Performances By An Actor
The sadistic fuck in Wolf creek, that laugh is bloody freaky. I think most of the others have already been mentioned here. American Psycho gave me nightmares for weeks when I saw it for the first time as a young lad.
Re: Most Cold Blooded Performances By An Actor
Jude Law in Road to Perdition,
Daniel Day Lewis - Gangs of new york and There will be blood

Re: Most Cold Blooded Performances By An Actor
Gary Oldham in The Professional.
Before Derek was reformed, Edward Norton in American History X, and as Roy, not Aaron, in Primal Fear.
Bricktop in Snatch.

And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs. You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig shit, now do you? They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig".
Re: Most Cold Blooded Performances By An Actor

Re: Most Cold Blooded Performances By An Actor
Both Ed Harris and the guy who played Pat in State of Grace (Sean Penn, Gary Oldham, John Turturo, etc.). Some righteous throat cutting in the alley. Ed even said he enjoyed it, as it was the first time he had done it. A real sleeper of a movie.

American History X, Edward Norton playing the Nazi Skin Head Derek Vinyard. My worst nightmare is him chasing me down the street.
