The Knights Templar who escaped from the King of France and his evil plans for them all with the Roman church using the Papal inqusitions in Europe against the Knights for all their riches and knowledge; were welcomed into Scotland,the people of Scotland and Robert the Bruce refused to denounce these great men and so the whole of Scotland was disbanned from the Catholic Church :cool:
The Knights dressed in white rode in and fought along side the Scots in the battle of Bannock. ;)
