Well said, I have felt this way for a few years about Oscar, he has done more for Mexicans and Latin Americans in general over any other fighter. A smart business person, a great name in the sport of boxing, and a generous philanthropist (i may have spelled that wrong)
Although this guys paper sucked and I cant believe they are giving away degrees with BS like that, he did make one resounding point that made sensel; Oscar has beat the "Real Mexican fighters" Chavez, Vargas, Paez, Ruelas and that has hurt him in a sense with Mexican, Mex-American, and Latin/Hispanic fans and the reason behind it is because we still are stuck in the dark ages. Hispanic people like other minority groups relate more to someone in their own difficult situation instead of aspiring to or being proud of someone of their own race who has made big accomplishments or has succeeded greatly in life. Not to say that those other boxers were broke or didnt accomplish anything, but not on the level of ODLH and we resent his success. But no other Hispanic/Latin/Mexican fighter has done more for his people then ODLH. We should all thank him for being a great role model for our younger generations (I dont have kids so I wont say for our kids) and for casting a great light on our culture and people.
Even if those pictures were him, so what everyone has their kinks and fetishes he just got caught doing his, how many of you dont enjoy your woman tossing your salad and sticiking her finger in your ass? Most of the time we hear only negative news on Hispanics; Immigration, gangs, illegal labor...it goes on and on. He brings a different image, Successful, business minded, Good looking, the list goes on and on. Am I jocking Oscar? Fuck ya I am. We should all want to be Multi-Millionaires, run our own companies, had our run of kicking ass,
have the looks of a model, have boned plenty of hot chicks, and now be living on easy street.
Dont judge him as only a fighter because he's not, judge his as a human being and you will like admire him alot more.
