To be fair anybody can see that Oscar wasn't right on fight night. He clearly messed up the weight big time.

Pac did what he had to do and he did what i said he'd do (win the fight), but i wouldn't go over-board. I personally didn't find anything new out about him (i already said he'd be fine at the weight). I think he's the best p4p but this fight has done little to enhance reputation to me. It's just confirmed that he is as good as i thought he was.

Like i say there would be zero point on a re-match because imo Pac would beat a 100% (for this stage of his career) Oscar, although i think it would be more competitive seen as though Oscar would have enough energy to punch back ;)

I thought the general reason for 2 fighters to go at it a 2nd time is because the fight was either won by a controversial/suspect decision, was a close fight in general, or was just so f'ing exciting that fans could think of nothing better than to see another 12 rounds of the same...

Although I loved Pac destruction of Oscar, it was not suspect, nor controversial, nor close, and I would cringe at having to watch it again.. And the only exciting thing about it was Pac, and that part you can take and throw in the ring with someone else, without giving golden panties another hack job pay day to get his ass beat again...

I think Oscar and the potential trainer who is going to have a high paying job for a few months are the only ones that would want a rematch with Pac..

I actually had Oscar one up for that round where he cleverly backed into the corner, setting the trap for Pac to come in and punch him crazily and hence tire him out... Darn trainers stopped the fight though right when Pac was almost completely spent, and Oscar could take over the fight with the energy he saved from not punching for 8 rounds...

So true! At this stage in his career, Oscar can't handle Manny's speed (who is in his prime) & @ 147 pounds either. At 154 pounds or a younger Oscar, maybe Manny still wins but I'll bet it would have been a much better fight than the one we saw on Dec. 6th!

I'd rather watch forbes fight manny than see oscar get his ass whooped again. At least i'd be someone new and we could take the pre fight promises and trash talk somewhat serious.

Good point. Never saw it that way. But his loss to Mayweather was nothing close to Pac's fight. Pac's loss was more than convincing compared to Mayweather's.

I don't think that is the fault of the trainer. I mean, here we have Oscar dominating a fight and was told to glide his way to victory on the last 2 or 3 rounds. That is the smart thing to do just like the team that is winning and decides to pass the ball around on the last few minutes of the game. The judges were probably watching a fight in the crowd and not a fight in the ring when they gave away the victory to Tito.

Yeah, I don't see him winning against Pac or the guy that sells hotdogs at the arena. That is simply what happens when a boxer is not in his prime. Even Pac and his team knew well about this and talked about it in interviews, 24/7 show, etc.

Vs PBF - engage, pump the jab. things he knows he had to do going into the fight.

He is not a fighter anymore, and I don't feel sorry for him. He's probably a billionaire. Outside of Mayorga (who's a chump), he has given us nothing to be proud of in the last 5-6 years.

Like some have stated before. He could fight Sergio Mora and draw a decent size crowd in LA.

Oscar and Evander are my favorite fighter's. But for Oscar to keep blaming his trainers has to piss his fans off. I agree to a certain extent. I certainly don't feel sorry for Oscar...the man is incredibly rich and famous. At the same time, i can respect what he has accomplished in and out of the ring...and not just hate him because he is rich and famous. As for the 3 fights you mention...you obviously cannot lay all the blame on the trainers. I thought he won the Trinidad fight...clearly. So whether he coasted the last few rounds...is a mute point for me. Against Floyd, he clearly fought a tactically incorrect fight. His jab worked for him. Now weather he stopped jabbing because it was his fault, his trainers, or simply because he had no gas in the tank...who knows. Probably a combination of all three. As for Pac...he looked like a walking zombie from the start. Pac deserves some credit...Manny was blindingly fast and well prepared. But Oscar just didn't have it from the very beginning. Whether that is because he was weight drained, shot, not well prepared, etc....again, no way to know for sure. Probably a combo of all those things again. What was clear to me...is that Oscar has no reason to keep fighting and IF he does...it should never be at 147 again. Having said all of this...i have respect for his career. Tremendous resume with some big wins and big loses...but he never ducked anyone. Plus, his wealth and popularity translated to wealth and popularity for boxing.
