I normally don't root for trash talkers and Mayweather is one of them but I don't let that blind me from seeing that he's a talented boxer that has it all. Can't really say he has a flaw.

His personality sucks bad.
He retired right when all of the real competition came up.
Has yet to beat Paquiao and Cotto.
Other than that he has amazing skills.
Coz he's a dick.
I dont hate mayweather but I cant say he was one of my favorite fighters because of his boring style. He was too safety first in alot of fights and refused to let his hands go. He also didnt have alot of power. If you are going to pick weak opposition as least knock them out....
He showed in the Hatton fight the ability to throw combos and knock people out and if more if his fights were like that I would be his number one fan...;)
Emmanual Stewart once compared him to Roy Jones but without the 8-9 punch combinations and power.

He made sure that when jumping divisions he would target the weakest of champions...EG- Gatti...he could have secured a fight with any of them but he choose the one with the weakest demeanor can not be denied.....and I will not engage in a debate on who else has done such things etc...
I can say that if he was jumping to 140 right now lets say...He would probably pick Holt or Bradley to fight for a world title rather then Hatton...why his chances are better...
If DLH was jumping to 140 he would pick Hatton before anyone else...

I respect PBF and you can not deny his skill...contrary to many I like his fights and find him exciting...as a boxing fanatic I love counter punchers and seeing them use strategy to win....
I do not like his attitude and self praising ass...No matter how good you are there is no need to constantly be your own biggest fan...

Because he has a foul mouth. Look at the great fighters of yesteryear. They talked without swearing. They didn't trash talk nowhere near as bad as floyd. Even ali, with his antics, didn't roll around in the gutter as floyd does. At least ali was funny even when he was being mean spirited. Even sonny liston didn't talk like a punk.
I cannot put a finger on it, but Carl Lewis, somethin' in that fella' held me be a believer, even when he was lording it, as the fastest man alive!

As far as the Manfreddy fight,Angel just didnt have the reach to close with him,and to Floyd's credit,he exploited the ever living hell out of that fact.
Little Floyds just plays the Bad guy and looks silly doing it, but you cant deny the classic skill set which is the best I have seen in the last 10 years at least, I dont like the fella at all but damm Jnr can box and fight when he has too.
Sometimes it's strange what it takes for a person to like or dislike fighters. Floyd may be arrogant... he may have ducked Margarito and a few others at 147 (a division where he doesn't belong)... and he may love playing the "bad boy", but I honestly cannot harbor any dislike for the guy. On the other hand, I've ALWAYS disliked the likes of Zab Judah, James Toney, and Naseem Hamed, to name a few.
Guys like Floyd piss me off because they have all the talent in the world and never once think they have to prove themselves. Floyd has "retired" undefeated but he never unified a weight division, he very seldom fought the most dangerous fighters at the weight classes he fought in.
He is the best fighter I've seen in a long time. Yes he has a big mouth but that takes nothing away from his talent.
