To me Tony Fernandez and Willie McGee are 2 of Baseballs most underrated players. Both were outstanding players
Another guy i liked back then was Lenny Dykstra.
Dykstra was into steroids big time.
Re: Jim Rice FINALLY in the Hall of Fame!!!
Lenny is now some big time stock guru.

Darren Dalton was one of my favorites but he had one too many concussions.
Bill Lee was a great one....the "Spaceman" ate marijuana pancakes, hahaha
Re: Jim Rice FINALLY in the Hall of Fame!!!
Tony Vernanay was one of the greatest, most graceful shortstops of all time.
And one of the greatest 2nd basemen ever turned double plays with him, Robbie Alomar.
I used to think Robbie was a shoe in for Cooperstown. But the spitting incident forever tarnished his image. Does he get left out because of that?

Don't know Vernanay. I guess you mean Fernandez? As far as I know, the only time he teamed with Alomar was for the last half of the 1993 season. But yeah, what a combo.
Alomar was a great player. That was quite a trade back in the day. Fernandez and Fred McGriff to San Diego for Alomar and Joe Carter.

CGM, yes. that's Fernandez. The way I've written it is the way tony himself pronounces it.
