Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
He deserves to be criticised here. All boxing fans were looking forward to a great match-up.
His GREED has stumped the fight.
His own promoter and trainer have criticised his "bizarre" actions and question whether he ever really wanted the fight. Pac clearly funked up, unless he didn't fancy facing Hatton of course ;)

PBF fans because there is a constant argument about who has the better resume between Pacman and Floyd, if Manny is made out to look scared to fight a guy PBF KO'd then it benefits Mayweather fans.
Another reason Pac gets criticism is due to his Rabid fans. Pacfans just go on and on about how Manny is the best, the most fearless, strongest most skilled, bla bla bla. They then attack in numbers anyone who dares to say anything negative about Manny. It turns ppl off him very quickly.
Just like PBF biggest detractors were Hatton and Pac fans... Go figure, they harassed Floyd and his fans incessantly now they cant take hearing it back.. We'll turn abouts fair play people.. Now you deal with it
Karma sure is a bitch isin't she;)

PAC has some amazing names on his resume, he is always exciting, but now that his legacy is secured he (or perhaps it's his handlers)
are looking strictly to cash in now.
I agree, which is why I don't completely understand why he didn't take the $12M and 52/48 split in a depressed economy. Who else can make him that kind of money?
I am critical of the decision to not fight Hatton, but I am not critical of Pac as a fighter.
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
Im more of a Hatton fan then a Pac fan,but in the states Pac has all the heat marketing wise right now. United States=bigger market. Bigger market=bigger PPV buys
If theyre mainly buying to see Pac, he should get the bigger cut,and right now thats who would be really selling it.
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
I criticize Pacquiao because he is being unreasonable and/or a giant pussy, and unilaterally stopping this fight from happening.

If that's the case - how come Pac's own promoter (Arum) and trainer (Roach) believe 50/50 is a great deal?
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
Because they would make a shit ton of money out of it ;D
Hitman Donny is right for the most part. Not everybody is like that but a lot of people have turned against him because of his fans, which might seem illogical but gains more momentum after reading their posts.
He is making a mistake, even though I think he does have every right to get 60/40. Nevertheless, I think the idea that Manny Pacquaio is scared of Ricky Hatton is get the fuck out of here hilarious.
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
BTW what was the split between Hatton and Mayweather?

Not sure, but I think when all was said and done total revenues equalled about 50/50.
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
Hatton had ALL the UK PPV rights against Mayweather - it did about 1.3 million buys.
Lucky fat funker ended up with $35-40 million
Re: Why PACQUIAO is always criticized with his actions?
softens the blow a bit
Actually I wouldn't be shocked if this ended up getting made at some point. I haven't been following this as closely and maybe Hatton has totally moved on but Pacquaio thought he could strong arm the negotiations, at some point he's gonna realize his options are limited (or maybe there not, I guess it depends on Floyd) and swallow his pride and take the split. Or maybe he won't.
Irrational in some ways, business wise obviously, but I see his point, he's fought everybody, come up from 112 to 147, he is THE man, Hatton's simply not, he's borderline P4P top ten.

His greed? What about Hatton's greed? If Hatton is only in there for a payday IMO, or he would do anything to regain his legacy. Its not Pacquiao who's legacy is in question, It was like 10 years ago the last time Pacquiao was knocked out, Hatton just got knocked out at the end 2007 against Mayweather. Pacquiao has everything to lose, Hatton has absolutely nothing to lose. For once Pacman deserves the lions share, and you think its just him? You don't think Arum has anything to do with it? Or Roach?

Just curious as to why you are a bigger Hatton fan?

For sure.. in an ideal world Hatton would say "fuck it, i'm a multi-gazillionaire, i don't mind giving him some extra dough" but it's the boxing business. Things don't work like that.
Pac is the betting favourite not Hatton. Pac is the greedy one because he refuses to fight for what they originally agreed.
Arum and Roach have to do with what? I don't understand what you mean
