i don't mean that Margarito did the same thing, cause i believe he's innocent, i'm just saying that not every thing is boxing is shady, Panama Lewis, who removed the padding from his fighter's glove was investigated and rightful action was taken, being a lifetime ban

So what? Does this mean it was impossible? We know trainers can be present but how often do they bother really?
So that leaves just the representatives. Is that really concrete(no pun intended)comfirmation that nothing was in his wraps for the Cotto fight?
Is that still not good enough? You talking like he's guilty. What proof you got?
What proof have THEY got?

Good enough for me. Coming into the fight Cotto was the one with the Super Star potential. Not Margarito. If anything was wrong with Margarito's wrappings it would of been pointed out

"You can't prove a negative," Kizer told SI.com.
"But I'm as certain as I can be that Margarito did not do anything illegal against Cotto."

All it means is they cannot "prove" Margarito did anything illegal against Cotto.

In an ideal world/ legal world,Its the job of the accusers to do the proving, not the accused. So what.....because they cannot prove a negative than he/they are guilty.Buy a lighter.......that book of wet matches aint getting it done.

Not saying he is guilty, but that in no way disproves that he didn't cheat in the Cotto fight. There is probably no way we will ever know.
I used to catch shop-lifters for a department store when I was in college; everyone I ever caught always swore it was the first time they ever did it.

Nah fam I'm sorry but you can't have one rule to suit circumstances. You can't prove that Manny Pacquiao didn't have plaster of Paris in his gloves in the fight against ODLH, but you can't prove it either because it's a past event if we follow your line of thought (he didn't before Pac-fans start havin babies) but the fact is you can't prove that you didn't do something in an event that took place months ago. You have to rely on the commission that took care of that fight, which was the Nevada Commission who might be a bit more dilligent than the Califiornia commission. The fact is this guy is the guy we have to rely on for that information being true. People should also really try & remember that the fights took place in different states, so there would be marginally different routines in place.
Also Jacko is not a petafile, that sounds like a fance piece of stationary ;)
Re: Margarito cleared of using handwraps against Cotto
It doesn't need to be proven because this isn't court, its public opinion. We're free to use our logic to form these opinions.
After YEARS of toiling in the underground, Marg finally becomes a mainstream figure in the boxing world and is making big paydays. He just destroyed one of the most feared fighters in the sport, he's on top of the WW division, and NOW he's going to risk it all by cheating? Doesn't sound right to me. He would not have tried to do this unless he was fairly sure he would get away with it, which not only attests to the incompetence of the NSAC but also suggests success in the past.
If you guys want to shut your brains off and take the word of the guy who is desperately trying to cover his ass, by all means go ahead.
