He's gonna have his hands full with Thiago Alves.. Single leg takedowns would be toooooooo risky for GSP when you consider how vicious Alves' kicks are. GSP is one great wrestler though.

GSP would be an interesting study against Silva though. He has a large frame and is strong and explosive. Silva is nasty though with those knees. I would love to see it transpire just to know for sure.

GSP can't beat him standing..Henderson/Lutter/Marquardt couldn't either get him on the ground or keep him there. GSP will be game and might take 1-2 rounds by out hussling Silva but in the end he will be on the wrong end of a UD.

Henderson did a pretty good job of mauling him on the ground for awhile. Better than most.

Anyone ever see that youtube of the Silva loss to that Japanese fighter that toe hooked him and submitted him with a leg bar. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen.
