I totally agree! How many times has Kellerman's predictions and analysis been off?

Have to say I dont mind crotchity ol' Merchant nearly as much as rah-rah Company tottie Jim 'phantom punches' Lampley.The man can not get over himself,yells too much,constantly interupts his partners...."BIIIIG RIGHT HAND"...:action::soapbox: blah,blah invent words,brown nose the HBO fighter, etc

Kellerman is a MUCH more informed and better fan than he is an effective commentator.He looks paralyzed when he is on camera and gets that ":o" gosh o' golly look way to often.

Which one is Kellerman?

I only download and watch the HBO broadcast every now and again when I forget to SKy+ (Tivo) a fight.

So that said I can't be a great judge of each sportscaster.

Which one is the one that scores the fight? Who is the one that commentates on the majority of the fight? I know who Merchant and Steward is...

Kellerman is the fresh face kid who looks like his suits are 2 sizes two big and with the humongous eyes....stammering through interviews.Count on him slipping in at least one Pernell Whitaker mention a card...regardless of whos fighting ;D Once in a blue moon he and Lennox Lewis get into tiffs.

I used to like Merchant, but he gets on my nerves now. He's fallen into self-parody, always trying to get off a one-liner. And, while he's always had a slow delivery, it's gotten ridiculous. It takes him five minutes to spit out a sentence.

I know Kellerman annoys some, but I like him. He brings a fresh take and knows his stuff.

So who's the guy who scores the fight? They go to him every few rounds to see how he's scoring the fight...

harold lederman...he's the one seems to know the most of all them but gets to say the least....i remember he called an Andre Dirrell fight the "worst fight he's ever seen"

I don't get all the Kellerman hate. I thought he struggled when he first joined HBO, but he improved a ton recently. I think he's done a solid job over the past several months.

This is hilarious... Kellerman didn't even work the Hatton-Malignaggi fight, Merchant was with Lampley for that one.

I always liked Lederman. Wondered why everyone didn't like him, you were on about Kellerman.

I wouldn't really worry too much about the '11 date on that contract, the way the old man boozes before and during the fight, my money is on the fact that he suffers liver failure before '10 rolls around... but in any case, I find him to be a much needed breath of Jack Daniels smelling air... which we could all use more of...
