European heavyweight scene is probably worse than the british one........if thats possible.
Up until last month matt skelton was the champion of europe :o:o:o
Re: Opninions on the British heavyweight scene.
"War Machine" Larry deserves a mention alongside Fury and Price.
Re: Opninions on the British heavyweight scene.
I think big larry, fury and price are going to form another british merry go round scenerio again ;D

Would that be such a bad thing?
When I talk of prospects I talk of British or european level fighters anything above that is just a bonus ,
I like the charismatic Chisora ,the brash Fury and Warmachine Larry who I've seen twice in the flesh and looks to have the strength of 10 men .
Add to that Sexton and Rogie who's already making waves I think we have the makings of some bigheavyweight fights at Brtish level in a year or so's time .
will Price adept to the pro game ? He did get sparked in the un paid ranks a few times.

Price offence looks good but his defence and chin are poor.Reminds me of Carl Froch the way he fights but Froch has a decent chin.

Yeah they do got Audrey Harrison, Danny Williams and Michael Sprott written all over them. But it's still going to be hard for them to reach the heights that trio reached. Matt Ellis and Pele Reid might be more realistic goals

You do love to throw a few spanners in don't you VD?
Not wanting to throw water on the American scene, but I have to say that I believe the British heavyweight scene to have a few more prospects than the US at the moment.
The boys we've got coming through at the moment have accrued a fair bit of hype, and as such seem to be starting on the six-rounders earlier than they normally would be. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw Fury go for the Commonwealth strap in not too long, and Warmachine doiung the business among the domestics, maybe looking at a British title fight within 12 months.
Busy busy busy seems to be the name of the game these days, and the constant training, if not the constant fighting, must benefit the fighters and hopefully thrash some of the lethargy out of them that plagued the current crop.
