Maybe PBF was a little heavier than thought since his layoff. But still PBF and JMM aren't that different in size. I think PBF should have made it at 143 or 144 because that wouldn't drain him. He is still a little welterweight. But I give this to JMM for being the warrior he is. Pac has nothing on JMM since they've last fought. JMM is fighting no matter what. He is fighting the top guys at their weight. He definitely has the p4p #1 heart in the sport. The guy will fight anyone and since he has moved up he has gotten more powerful. He has stopped 2 top guys who have never been stopped before. And Casamayor has been in there with some bangers. PBF should win but I will in no way be surprised if JMM makes this fight interesting.

Doubt it can happen but would love for marquez to ko/tko floyd would be an awesome birthday present since the fight falls on my bday. I really don't think this will be a walk in the park for floyd however and see it as one of his toughest fights perhaps if jmm is nearly as effective at 147 as he is at the lower weights. Stranger things have happened

Marquez is not that much smaller than Floyd, he can hurt Floyd if he connects, he is a fantastic boxer too so it WILL be very competitive. One of your better posts. Marquez will be competitive. The weight doesn't really mean much cuz in reality Marquez doesn't have to come in at that weight. He will come in around 142 to 144. Whatever he feels comfortable in.

Wow, what a champ Mayweather is. 144 would have been enough of a disadvantage for Marquez. I guess he wants a early ko so he can claim that the the greatest fighter ever, once again :rolleyes: I stopped a guy that not even Pac could...eehh... I hope that Juan can surprise him, just dont see it happening.

You got it wrong and you're defending the wrong guy... Props to JMM for agreeing (or was he forced to agree) to fight at 147... But how about PBF?? :confused: PBF already has all the tangible advantages over JMM if the fight is made at 143 and how much more at 147?? PBF is making a joke to us fight fans... He's already a 4 to 1 favorite to defeat JMM at 143 and then he still allowed this fight to have a limit of 147 which in effect will give him huge advantage in the size department (of course he will since he's a pussy, a joke)... JMM was only fighting at 140 on the night of his last fight...
First I consider this match-up as a tune up fight for PBF, now it becomes a joke tune-up fight...

Marquez is obviously not willing to be 'protected' like Pac I suppose. I don't think bigger, good opponents phase him.
