I agree that Moseley would not have been stopped but Duran really was a beast at lightweight and had a plan for every eventuality that arose. He simply would not be denied.

Very tough one, but I'd go with Duran. Other greats that I would like to have seen fight these two, were Joe Gans, Julio Cesar Chavez, Benny Leonard and Alexis Arguello
Duran. His defense was better than Mosley and he would outsmart and outhustle him down the stretch. A lot of punches by both men in this fight. Duran by close but secure UD over 12 and Duran by not so close UD over 15. Still, Shane would make it very competitive and Duran would have a hard earned victory.
Shane wouldn't get stopped but he would lose. Fighters like Roberto Duran only come along every so often...he could box he could brawl he could punch he had a hell of a chin and his defense on the inside was unbelieveable. His offense looked very wild and crazy but most all of his exchanges were started with a slip or a blocked punch.....watch some of his highlights, he was a GREAT boxer, not just a brawler, but a boxer.
Shane is great and all but he likes space, he CAN fight on the inside but hell Duran beat Ray Leonard up...he didn't just beat him he beat him up! And that was at 147 where Duran was still great but not as great as he was at 135.
