Re: Darchinyan Says His Power Will Overwhelm Agbeko
Calderon is a pound for pound guy and a less controversial Pound 4 Pound selection than Donaire, no shame in that, more a credit to Calderon's skills than Cazares being a chump or something.
Since then he's beaten Roberto Vasquez at 115, I haven't seen that but unless Vasquez just looked shot to hell that's a good win.
Anyway Cazares is a big, strong guy, its not as big a deal for him to move up from 108 to 112 as it would be for some other guys.

I think we can safely say that Darchinyan has separated himself from his loss to Donaire. It is great what Donaire did to him. But Strength of schedule!!?? Vic is whooping Donaire's ass. Nonito need to pick up some more worthy opponents to be considered a better P4P fighter.
Vic achievements henceforth are no longer propelling Donaire.. he needs to find a way to make his OWN legacy. Hell, I pick Vic in the rematch.
Go Vic!
Re: Darchinyan Says His Power Will Overwhelm Agbeko
Im rooting to Vic and think he will win. He is crafty enough to keep a single minded brawler off tempo (if that is what Abeko is ??? ) with the power to get his attention.
I think it will go the distance with Vic having his strongest rounds late in the fight and fairly wide Vic UD.
These assumptions are based on having never seen Abeko fight.
Glad people to see complaining about Donaire having his boxing accolades vicariously through Darchy's accomplishments over the past 2 years.
Go Vic!
Re: Darchinyan Says His Power Will Overwhelm Agbeko
Well, I think Darch will win by a UD or late stoppage, but I don't think that will matter because this fight will probably be canceled.

he's being sarcastic dude, basically everyone (aside from the nutthuggers) acknowledge that Donaire shouldn't be above Darcinyan right now

Cazares should of got the win in there first fight. The second was incomplete. Cazares will cuz Donaire problems.
i thought Calderon CLEARLY won the 1st fight, and won by 2 points, only due to the knockdown, if not it would have been a 3 point win for Calderon, and IMO he was outboxing Cazares a lot easier in the rematch
I scored it 115-113 for Cazares. He landed the harder punches and was the one forcing the action. Round 8 should of been scored 10-7. The knock down that was ruled a slip was legit.
Re: Darchinyan Says His Power Will Overwhelm Agbeko
Vic will stomp abeko, it won't get canceled with an injury vic would still win.
Re: Darchinyan Says His Power Will Overwhelm Agbeko
Lol! Bilbo could be right. Agbeko lessened Donaire's value win against Darchinyan therefor Donaire should no longer be on p4p list along with Darchinyan. Well let's see what the ring says.
