Re: BIG FIGHT for Pac/Cotto undercard
That would be a tremendous fight.Main event worthy and guaranteed someone...cough...Valero ends up counting the lights on the ceiling :shinner:.Well lets hope.
Re: BIG FIGHT for Pac/Cotto undercard
Arum would not jock up all the big names in 1 fight. He is one helll of a businessman. HE knows that Pac-Cotto alone is already worth a fortune he may book so promising boxers instead of some big match-ups that could also sell if scheduled separately.

I don't remember who started the thread on who would win that fight but at least now we'll get to see if the fight pulls through!
It's possible both are Top Rank fighters but Valero is not licensed to fight except in Texas. So unless that changes in Nevada, I don't think we'll see him on the undercard. I also read he was arrested in Valenzuela a drunk driving and fire arms charge. Good thing it wasn't in Texas!
Wow...Valero/Soto on the undercard!:o
Now now we dnt want a fight that might upstage the main event.;D
Valero/Soto be awesome,Soto by stoppage?
Wat Fan Johnny said is right hopefully somethin can be done!
Re: BIG FIGHT for Pac/Cotto undercard
Arum know his boxing business. The addition of Valero-Soto will mean more Mexican fans buying this fight card. Boricuas, Pinoys, Mexs, other Latinos, this card got it all.

I got Soto winning too. I think Valero has been fighting easy opposition and will find someone who will be coming at him with something he's never seen before.

I remember way back in the day when Floyd Mayweather was fighting Jesus Chavez I believe and had announced before that he wanted Oscar De La Hoya. Larry Merchant said 'I think Floyd has about as much chance against Oscar as Eric Morel would have against him' :-X:rolleyes:;D
By the way Jaz, does Soto speak English or did you talk to him in Spanish?
Lol @ Merchant.
I had heard he only spoke Spanish, so I was using my very basic grasp to try talk to him, at which point he started talking to me in English, not fluent but enough that you could talk to him & he seemed to understand it well. I think because a lot of these guys do post-fight interviews in Spanish, we assume they're not bi-lingual (as with Marquez who's English is good) but then you have to take into account they've been gettin punched in the head for a fair bit of time just before so they're probably not ready to answer questions in a second language.
