Then a moot point it is.

Then maybe we'll care what you have to say about others.

I don't doubt anyone that can fight. But some of these guys the British produce are as bad as what we Americans put out so I don't think it has to do with where they are from. Audley Harrison to me is the Gerry Cooney of his generation. All hype and no talent.
Re: David Haye, "American people in general love to doubt anybody thats not American"
The way Haye talked he would havegiven his left nut to get at a Klitschko, and now he has had fights with BOTH and bottled BOTH. How can anyone defend that? Or better yet, continue to talk shit after backing out of two fights?
BTW Lyle is a Klitschko fan and neither are American. And Americans have every reason to doubt Haye.

Well put Mar.
Re: David Haye, "American people in general love to doubt anybody thats not American"
Guys I have an idea: let's not ruin the board with Hayespeaking like it used to be trolled with multiple and exagerated pacman conversations, he has a nice contract with the Hairy freakshow now after ducking Wlad and Vitali wall to wall, let's wait to see how it goes and then what happens, till then, please let's stop to open threads with the big mouth with no backup for the talk.
What do you think? ;)

David Haye, the heavyweight division's most promising fighter has become David Haye, the heavyweight division's most promising pundit.

Cooney at least beat some names. Harrison? Well he didn't. Cooney would smash Harrison
Re: David Haye, "American people in general love to doubt anybody thats not American"
I think Haye is generally right in his quote at the start of this thread. But I think he is now being doubted by far more than just the American people and he has brought it all on himself. All mouth and no trousers so far.
Re: David Haye, "American people in general love to doubt anybody thats not American"
Haye is just putting them off for a few years, ala the Calzaghe "Golden Years Tournament."
Just kidding!
Re: David Haye, "American people in general love to doubt anybody thats not American"
I would prefer if Haye actually beat a World class HW , then he can talk the talk.
Re: David Haye, "American people in general love to doubt anybody thats not American"
I actually think Haye would be getting a lot more grief if he was an American. U.S. fans have waited for what seems like forever for a promising, charismatic American heavyweight contender to appear. I think they would have got behind Haye in a big way early on and would have turned on him in a huge way for the way he has conducted himself, acting like a clown and demanding, receiving, and then completely fucking up title shots against the two best heavyweights in the world.
