Re: PPV Numbers Mayweather/Marquez
I voted between 400,000 - 600,000.
I actually want to say below 400,000, but I thought that I would be generous.
Re: PPV Numbers Mayweather/Marquez
Going to make my guess at 780, 024 (give or take a few). Call me an optimist.

That fight did 325,000.
There were constant reports about bad sales for this fight (Marquez-Floyd).. Marquez has no PPV numbers to speak of and Floyd's are determined by Oscar and Hatton.
I think they'll be happy with 400,000.
I reckon this fight does better than expected. Marquez doesn't really have a fanbase outside boxing fans, but Mayweather does have a PPV buying fanbase thanks to WWE, the general hip-hop association & even dancing with the stars. I wouldn't be surprised if it did 600k+
Over 600K for this fight he really has created a serious following. And deserves to be called MONEY!!!

Mayweather-Marquez comes up short at gate, draws $6.8 million - USATODAY.com
By J. Michael Falgoust, USA TODAY
While it remains unknown how well Floyd Mayweather's return to the ring did on pay-per-view and closed circuit, his easy 12-round decision against a Mexican opponent didn't sell out despite it being Mexican Independence weekend.
Attendance at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas was announced at 13,116, but Thursday the numbers from the Nevada State Athletic Commission showed that 12,009 tickets were sold at face value, 895 tickets were comps — or giveaways — and 2,645 went unsold.
The total gate: $6,811,300.
The base salary for Mayweather was $10 million while Juan Manuel Marquez cleared $2 million.

I really should have gotten a mod to fix the polling options. :embarassed:

And our winners of the PPV numbers contest are:
albsur2006, Aussie Egg, Majesty, and uptoscratch !
Great work!
Honorable mention goes to Youngblood for once again pulling in decent numbers with the Bastard option.
Thank you for playing everyone, and don't forget to tune in for our next poll!
