Have you seen how many punches Holyfield throws these days, you can count them on one hand.
Re: John Ruiz Title Fights
u know wot give ruiz a shot @ the title every 6 wks i say, cos lets be honest no one deserves a shot more than him i mean who else is there to challenge for a title really
here is all the non title holders ring magazine top 10
Alexander Povetkin
Eddie Chambers
Ruslan Chagaev
Chris Arreola
Denis Boytsov
Alexander Dimitrenko
Kevin Johnson
so ruiz should fight haye then vitali then wlad then strat all over again;D

lennox wouldnt defend against ruiz as wasnt a challenge at all (plus wouldnt of made him any money) & that would of been in ruiz prime. the heavyweight scene is in a bad way except for haye & the brothers who else is out there? i pick haye to knock ruiz out inside of 8 rds.
It was Manny Steward who did not want Lewis to fight Ruiz. I agree that there would not have been alot of money to be made off that fight but he would have made more fighting Ruiz then his defense over Botha and Mavrovik.

haye v vitali
haye v wlad
so thats it:mad:
Re: John Ruiz Title Fights
i dunno how anyone can really complain bout Ruiz getting a title shot and not doing anything to earn it, especially if it's against Haye of all people :-X
Re: John Ruiz Title Fights
I hope haye lands something big, early.
If I never see this guy's name again on a fight card...
Re: John Ruiz Title Fights
john ruiz & chris byrd = :bawling:
