That's 1.4 Billion Pesos, that money could go a long way in fixing the infrastructure of the Phillipines.
That might build a bridge over a small river. But yea in the Philippines using the real cost you might get 50 miles of a two lane road. Corruption cost, you might get 10 miles.
I agree the smart thing would be to meet and work out a deal. $30 million is a lot of f*n money.

LOL. Even if Pac earns $200 million in his fight with Mayweather, he won't be able to buy even 1/1000 of the Philippines.LOL.
FYI, our politicians in the Philippines are earning $300 million in just one major transaction (e.g. NBN ZTE deal). LOL.
Conclusion: Politicians in the Philippines are very corrupt and Pacquaio is trying to be one.
Pacquaio should stay in boxing and if he doesn't want to fight anymore, I hope he retires and not join politics.

LOL. 1.4 billion pesos will not go a long way in the Philippines. More than 50% of it will be corrupted. I know. I'm an accountant.
Re: Pacquiao vs Mayweather may not happen
It's only greed (concerning both sides) that is stopping it from happening.
Earlier in the year it was Mayweather who was demanding too much in the form of a 60/40 split. Now Pacquiao's camp is not only expecting the 60/40, but also wanting a ridiculous catch weight (again).
If I were Manny or Floyd I would push for the fight be at 146 with 50/50 split or winner-take-all... but alas, I'm just a fan who wants the corruption and politics in boxing to dissipate.. (I don't think that'll happen any time soon :()
