I am convinced Froch also beats Kessler.
Kessler is a good fighter; but has been overrated for a long time. He does most things well but is unable to adapt and has no inside game at all.
I think if Froch fights inside he'll clearly beat Kessler, If he uses roughhouses Kessler as is his strong point he'll clearly beat Kessler unless he stands mid range and tries to box with Kessler (Which he may be dumb enough to do) he wins in my opinion.
I'm not sure if he can beat Abraham however as he tends to let other fighters hit him and Abraham hits hard.
Against Ward I think he does well as although Ward is a smart fighter with speed and ring smarts Froch has done well against two fighters (Pascal & Taylor) who have simmilar attributes! he was out boxed for long periods by both but seems to have the willpower to breakdown these opponents. unlike Kessler.
Re: Kessler/Froch...who wins?
If Kessler hasn't gone to pieces it'll be a lot like Kessler-Andrade.
Re: Kessler/Froch...who wins?
still think kessler
a lot of people on here are diminishing kesslers efforts last night rather than actually paying attention to a new found world class fighter to look over
Sure kessler came across a situation which was pretty much tailor made for andre ward, everything from the crowd to the ref was designed to help ward win the fight. But it was still an awesome display from a guy who deserves a hell of a lot of recognition now.
Against froch he doesnt have to worry about the speed of ward or the awkwardness of calzaghe, i still see mikkel being too much for froch

Kessler did look rusty in his comeback and now this showing. Perhaps the Calzaghe fight affected him a lot more than the odds were suggesting. I don't know, just random thoughts really.
But going into the Froch fight, Kesslers confidence will have taken another huge knock and just maybe Froch is in the right position at the right time to press for the win. I had always thought Kessler to be the man to beat in this tournament, but he really didn't look all there against Ward. Maybe Kessler will bounce back and have Froch bouncing off of his fists, but I must admit that there are a few doubts now.
So, who do you have winning in this fight now?
Or perhaps Kessler was just not as great as the Calzaghe groupies claimed he was. Based on what I saw last night, I think it's a 50-50 fight. And wouldn't be surprised if Fraud pulled out the stoppage win
At some point you should stop calling him Fraud. Maybe if he beat Kessler. Think about it, if he beat Kessler, which I unlike you, think won't happen, it means he has a string of victories over Pascal (current light heavyweight champ), Taylor (former middleweight champ), Dirrell, and Kessler (former super middleweight champ). Is there a better streak at or around that weight?
