Cotto vs Margarito makes business sense

I wouldn't want to see this.. It certainly won't be a re-match to decide if Cotto could beat him if Margarito wasn't cheating... A lot was taken out of Cotto after that bout and he wasn't the same after it.. He won't be going in to it the same as the last fight... Plus if Cotto has his doubts about Margarito's gloves in that fight, and the way he was beaten, I would never step in the ring with him again... Especially if you want a poster boy for what cheating does to the sport of boxing, look at Cotto's face and his team's accounts of his injuries after that fight...

I love boxing and love every bout to see who comes out on top, but can anyone seriously say they would like to see these to get in the ring again with the chance of Cotto getting the same beating as before? I couldn't stomach it, and if that's how I feel about someone losing, then I won't watch it..

Great if Cotto avenges himself, but a potential cheat could have done life long damage to their opponent, and regardless of money, I would never ask or expect of Cotto to get back in the ring with Margarito no matter who wants to see it..

But me personally, I think it is the one fight in boxing that shouldn't even be considered..

I see where Cotto is coming from in not giving Margarito in rematch because he doesn't want Margarito getting a payday after trying to cheat.

It also makes him look bad though, sort of like he is scared of Margarito.

I hope it happens though, It would answer alot of questions regarding their first fight.

Agreed 100%. I don't care how much money this fight would make, or how good of a fight it would be, I never want to see Margarito have a chance to earn big money in boxing again.

Marg is probably fresher from the layoff, but Cotto would be motivated to beat him this time. I would like to see it.

Unless Cotto is allowed to beat Margarito with a baseball bat I fail to see the need to have this fight.

Miguel Cotto needs to have easier fights or simply retire and if I was in his shoes I would rather retire than give Antonio Margarito 1 cent more from boxing....he's a disgrace and should never fight ever again.
