Re: Has Pacquiao's Reputation been Damaged Forever?
Speaking of calling bluffs or even upping the ante.
I remember reading an article about the random blood testing that Floyd wants and how Pacquiao should have countered. The article was stating that Pac's team should have been smarter than that and instead of refusing they should accept it, then make another demand that the weigh in should be on fight night within 1 hour of the fight.
The author of the article was basically stating that Pac's team should have came up with something savvy like that. But instead they lost this chess match battle. I thought an scenario like that was brilliant to counter the random blood testing.

If he does not take the test and fights someone else I think it's pretty clear he has been up to no good.
No one seems to be slagging off Roach as much as I thought, which I think is crazy, we all know how involved he is with Manny and he knows 100% the truth of all of this too.

...people have short memories. Especially in this case where most aren't even pac fans, they just back anyone floyd fights. This will die off as part of the hype long as he takes and passes the tests. After this fight happens and it will, no one will really even care about this stuff. People will be to busy building up the next person that will eventually loose to floyd as well.

It's the conditioning guy who'll get all the blame if it ever emerges that Manny is juicing. He's even publicly said that Manny doesn't know what he gives him, so Manny can claim he had nothing to do with it if it does ever become public knowledge. That's exactly how a few of the baseball cheats tried to get out of it when they got caught. "I thought he was injecting me in the arse with Vitamin B12", that sort of thing.

Only on some of the other on-line sites that have allowed some of the very worse racism, hate, and innuendos one can possibly imagine. It alamost makes me feel ashamed to be a fight fan--almost.

Floyd needs to put up or STFU. He's got to stop derailing the negotiation. Stop running like a lil' b1tch Floyd.
What a friggin joke of a post, and shame on you for supporting someone that refuses to take fair and thorough drug tests.. To blame Mayweather or this is just stupid..
I like you PSL but on the real, you are yet to stake a logical claim or response about why you think its ok for Pussuiao not to take random blood tests??
This fight is not happening because Pussuiao dosent want to blood tested randomly, even though Floyd will do it too... Puss is tarnishing more and more everyday, I mean what is it with you anyway? If Pac was a cannibalistic serial killing pedophile who tortured old people and robbed banks you would still defend that little chooch:rolleyes:
Roach and Puss are acting really suspicious and peculiar.. Even Uncle Bob seems puzzled by their BS excuses

Those fans are just messing around. It's like when B-Hop said no white guy can beat him. Just some shit talking that's all.
Re: Has Pacquiao's Reputation been Damaged Forever?
i think its damaged forever. regardless if he takes a test and passes it people will still question him. maybe he paid off whoever tested him so hed come out clean. when somebody accuses you of anything, whatever you do, it will never disappear. look at iraq. bush and the rest of the western world said its confirmed there is WMD in iraq.. well you know the rest is history.

On the otherhand if he refuses the random tests and looks great or wins people will think it was all cos of drugs.
The only way to salvage his rep now is to pass the random tests and fight really well.
Right, which against Mayweather may be impossible. Thus, it is more than likely that his reputation is damaged forever.
I mean I guess if he fought Mosley at 147 and destroyed him in his next fight, his reputation may be bumped up a bit.
Re: Has Pacquiao's Reputation been Damaged Forever?
I'm no longer a Manny Pacquiao fan. I'm not going to watch any of his fights ever again. I'm no longer a fan of contemporary boxing. I'm Going to watch the Ali-Frazier 2 DVD I just bought and KO my sparring partner on Monday.

I'm a salesman and leaving your best punch till last is the way to go. I really thought this was what was going to happen. Guess we've got more sense than a bunch of millionaire fuckwits.
