I am a Pacquiao fan and dislike Mayweather with all my heart...
At the end of the day their fight is not being fought due to Pacquiao not adhereing to drug tests that Mayweather, himslef, will submit to.

When athletes reach heights higher then has been achieved they are held at higher standards...
Pacquiao should have been flattered that his accomplishments are so mind boggling that people think he must be juicing... and then dispelled them with a drug test.
He did not.
So fact is that nomatter where you go with your argument, Pacquiao walked away from the biggest fight in recent history and possibly the highest grossing because of drug testing.
Regardless of whether he's innocnet or not, he's made his bed and all his prior and future accomplishments will be questioned...

It still isn't a response at all that fighting Cotto and Clottey at welterweight is much, much more impressive than fighting Marquez and Campbell at welterweight. Pacquiao had a good chance of losing both those fights, Floyd has NONE of losing his. Its all about speed. PBF knows his opponents won't be able to carry their speed up to 147, and that is PBF's greatest asset. IE. why he doesn't want to fight PAC. You can say all day PAC is scared, but PBF knew his steriod tactics were going to ruin this fight. In addition to that, PBF won't be asking anyone else to take blood tests.. If he didn't ask PAC to take this tests just like everyone else WON"T ask Pac to take these tests, then the fight would still be happening.

I was criticizing Mayweather for his poor choice of opponents before the fiasco with Pacquiao and it looks like nothing has changed. Why won't he fight the fight everyone wants (Mosley) and show up Pacquiao at the same time? I don't see how there is any real choice here. What is Mayweather waiting for? He already took a warm-up fight.
The criticism on Pacquiao is not that he isn't fighting top quality welterweights. It is that he didn't take a test to make the biggest fight in boxing in the last twenty years happen. Shame on him for that. Until proven otherwise, I don't believe Pacquiao took performance enhancing drugs, but that is not to say I won't be proven otherwise. Pacquiao was and is not my favorite fighter although I am a fan.

I never said it wasn't easy to take a blood test. I'm not on steroids but i wouldn't take it if my opponent was making BS accusations.. If it wasn't the Floyd camp bringing up the Steroid BS, and the blood tests ended up being a part of rules in boxing. Eagle, first I am not a Pacquiao groupie and definitely not a Mayweather groupie, but can you answer why Pacquiao wouldn't just stop taking drugs for this fight, pass the test, and make the $40M?

All the more reason to fight him. Why would they spend loads of money starting negotiations if they didnt want the fight? Why use the drug test as the way out and leave Mannys name tarnished forever?

Because he has backed himself into a corner and acted so suspiciously that unless he tests clean and wins/looks damn impressive people will still accuse him of doping in the past.
A subpar performance would destroy his legacy and damage his future moneymaking ability.

Actually, Bob Arum will make millions regardless... He won't give PBF anything whatsoever. He will make more than enough with the Pac vs Clotty fight because guess what? both fighters are his and he won't have to split a dime of it... Come on man, you know Arum is one crafty SOB... I never said it wasn't easy to take a blood test. I'm not on steroids but i wouldn't take it if my opponent was making BS accusations.. If it wasn't the Floyd camp bringing up the Steroid BS, and the blood tests ended up being a part of rules in boxing. I would totally agree with you on why the Pac camp was choosing not to take the tests...
I'll say that again just in case you missed it... If it was a part of the rules in boxing for random blood testing and PAC said "no"... I would be quite pissed right along side you...
But it seems to me, you are more mad about the fight not happening that you are willing to beat up the fighters instead of the game. The game is at fault here...

Well why, if they never wanted to fight Floyd anyway, would they spend money on negotiations, then pull out due to a reason that tarnishes Mannys legacy? It makes no sense. Why would they throw away 40million and take much less to fight a guy who could very well beat Manny. What happens if Clottey wins next fight? Manny will never have as big a payday again. Use logic please.
