I just dont see it
Early haye was always open to taking a beating if you stuck it too him as thompson showed.
But the last 3 performances have showed a hell of a lot of maturity from haye and if he can continue to fight in bursts and be defensively cautious i dont see how the hell john ruiz is gonna be able to handle hayes speed and power

It is a good fight and will make Haye look good, he could not have picked a better opponent.
Re: Haye v Ruiz M.E.N Arena Sky Box Office 3rd April
I really fear the jab and grab festival, intriguing fight but I highly doubt it'll be entertaining by any stretch of imagination.
Re: Haye v Ruiz M.E.N Arena Sky Box Office 3rd April
I would only go if it had a good undercard (which it wont so i wont be going) also i wont pay for box office unless decent undercard as well (which it wont so i wont be buying)

My God man, you call yourself a fan???
RJJ and James Toney have laid out the blueprint plain and simple for ANYONE fighting John Ruiz. COUNTER RIGHT HAND, if your boy can't follow that then there's no damn hope for him.

John Ruiz shouldn't last the distance vs ANYONE that holds a major belt

A fan of what ? I am saying in my opinion this is not a walk over for Haye , not because i think Ruiz is good , just because i think Haye has dodgy punch resistance.
Re: Haye v Ruiz M.E.N Arena Sky Box Office 3rd April
Be that as it may any solid fighter should see those punches coming and they only come 1 at a time. And if the opponent for Ruiz has power as advertised then a KO in his favor shouldn't be out of the question, actually it should be expected.

WTF DOES YOUR BOY MEAN ANYWAY ? because if u think in a fanboy of Haye's then you dont know me at all Lyle.
Haye has proved nothing to me at HW , lets see him in a fight were he get hit back and wins.
Re: Haye v Ruiz M.E.N Arena Sky Box Office 3rd April
....I have refused mentioning a certain fighter and therefore I called him YOUR BOY. You Brits might not catch the humor on that as it's from PTI an show on at least the American version of ESPN

Re: Haye v Ruiz M.E.N Arena Sky Box Office 3rd April
well i said i wasnt gonna go, but i really wanna now
Re: Haye v Ruiz M.E.N Arena Sky Box Office 3rd April
I booked my tickets earlier too, section 202. I opted for the £50 tickets in the Upper Tier so I'll be more central, as opposed to the £50 tickets in the lower tier which were in the corner...
Tickets are priced from £25 to £600 ringside. Ebookers dropped a bollock too on their site so I got a £100 hotel room for £16.99!! They've confirmed my booking too so looks like I've dropped on there... ;D
Been to see Hatton & Calzaghe all over the UK and in Vegas, but never seen a live HW World Title bout so looking forward to it. Haye best not back like he did after I'd paid to go to Germany to see him fight Wlad...
