stamina unparalleled?? does Margarito not hold the record for most punches thrown in a round and in a fight recorded by copy box?? His whole style is based on relentless aggression and pressure, this guys throwing over 100 punches a round in the championship rounds for gods sake. I've said it before and I'll say it again he would have beat Cotto with or without the plaster, he is a very big welterweight, Pac man is a very small one, I think if they fight Margarito wins.

I didn't say anything about Margarito's stamina, he's well known as a very conditioned fighter. However, so is Pacquiao and much of Margarito's game is predicated upon breaking down his opponent physically and mentally, and he will not be able to do that against Pacquiao. I don't see any way a plodding fighter like Margarito beats Pacquiao.
Re: Margarito Speaks about Pac
haha
If Margarito thinks he's gettin a huge pay day somewhere down the line fighting Pacquaio he's fuckin nuts.
He's pretty much the slowest welterweight out there among the elite guys, and if he couldn't handle Mosley's speed then he damn sure couldn't hack it with Pacquaio.
I'll bet he's the only man who can beat Manny, just as long as you let him use all the plaster a paris he wants to...
Re: Margarito Speaks about Pac
NBA player Gilbert Arenas was suspended indefinitely for bringing an unloaded gun in the locker room. Boxer Antonio Margarito has his license revoked for at least one year for bringing a loaded glove in the ring and using it. If he gets his license back soon, then what the ...!!! He could have killed his opponent and all he gets is a slap on the wrist. He should have been legally prosecuted for that.
I'm sorry but he doesn't deserve to fight with the elite and be paid a lot of money. If he comes back, make him start from the bottom again.
Re: Margarito Speaks about Pac
Both are absolute disgraces to the sport. I would never pay to see this fight. Margacheato doesn't deserve a payday like this.. and if it ever did come to fruition, I hope he'd ask for decent drug-testing... Pac would be running for the hills.

Sorry, I overreacted on this one. Margarito wasn't able to bring the loaded gloves in the ring nor was he able to use it in his fight with Shane Mosley. He was caught in the locker room. I was thinking of the beating that he gave Miguel Cotto. Although I highly suspected that he had already used loaded gloves then it hasn't been proven. He still doesn't deserve to get a huge payday.

Just a question, what do you think would be a decent drug-testing?

Calling these fighters absolute disgraces is a little too strong if you ask me, nothing has ever been proven against Pac Man and I highly doubt Margarito had loaded gloves in the Cotto fight. For all we know the Mosley fight was the only time. Would you call Pryor an absolute disgrace for drinking out of a suspect water bottle in the fist Arguello fight?? Wut ever was really in that bottle Pryor aint need and he proved it in the rematch, and Pac man will prove that he don't need no PED's in his future fights. Calling the best pound for pond fighter in the world and absolute disgrace based souly on hoopla is alittle too strong, and quite frankly, a bit ignorant.

Agreed. Dont really like Pac but nothing has officially been proven yet. No one really knows for sure how long Margarito has been loading his gloves.

Although we're not sure as to how long Margarito had loaded his gloves, the fact that he was caught made me suspicious of his other victories. If he beat Cotto cleanly, why then would he cheat in his next fight which is Mosley who happened to have been beaten by Cotto.
I also agree that what they have on Pacquiao are only speculations and it hasn't been proven that he had used PEDs. But if it will be proven that he indeed is on PEDs, then I will also put his other accomplishments to question. Cheaters do not need to be given the benefit of the doubt. But as of this time, I would not consider Manny as a cheater.

I'm still waiting for anyone who claims Pacquiao has EVER cheated to provide some sort of proof. IE: gloves with plaster of paris. Not BS internet rumor or speculation. Don't quote as your source Floyd Sr or Roger's claim of 500 yr old A-side meth that makes the user inpregnable to 45-cal bullets. Unless you have proof in-hand when you make an accusation you need to STFU. Otherwise that makes you both a liar and a fool.
Re: Margarito Speaks about Pac
I'm sure there are reasons to be suspicious since Pacquaio didn't agree to the testing. But labeling him a cheat is too premature. Some say why did he walk away from 40 million over a little drug test? I'd ask the same question to Floyd why walk away from 40 million over 10 days ?

Sorry buddy, but you can't compare those two things.
Walking away because of drug testing looks suspicious, whereas walking away because the other party doesn't agree to the drug test is... well, maybe a good move. ;)

I don't believe any of them walked away from the drug test. From my recollection, both of them agreed to the drug testing, they just did not agree on the date it can be last taken prior to the fight (24 days vs 14 days). I just wished that since Manny already agreed to what is beyond what is required by the Nevada Boxing Commission, then Floyd should have accepted Manny's terms & we would have been waiting for their fight right now.

That's a bit of a play on words. A test even as close as 2 days before the fight shouldn't cause a boxer problems.
I consider myself a pretty rational thinker and I can't come up with many reasons why I would not want to take a drug test randomly.
So, to reword what I stated so that it cannot be taken out of context:
Manny walked away from 40 million because of drug testing too close to the fight date, and Floyd walked away from 40 million because Manny wouldn't go for the.. ah, I'm too tired to finish this thought really.
