Knocking down JMM doesn't seem like something a weak fighter would be able to do. If something weakened Pac it was probably JMM's punches.
He was referring EM-Pac1 not JMM-Pac

Thank you Waleed
Pac didn't look weak at all throwing punches from all over the place as he usually does. EM just came with the right plan to box him from the outside using his reach and not engaging so much in exchanges. Hard to believe Pac was weakened because of a blood test specially when you also hear him blame it on his socks after the fight.
Re: Fuck the ring magazine
everyone knows how The Ring Magazine loves to side with Top Rank fighters.
Re: Fuck the ring magazine
I've got that issue and the only two writers who full on take Manny's side are Ivan Goldman and Jim Bagg. Goldman is a decent journalist, but Jim Bagg is quite possibly the worst writer to work for any publication that you have to buy EVER. I reckon I could go out pick up a porn mag and find more insightful and witty prose. In fact I suspect those 'flyers' in the phoneboxes are penned by greater writers than Bagg. He's a tool.

People thought The Ring magazine would take sides with Golden Boy Promotions boxers considering how Oscar owns The Ring magazine.
Re: Fuck the ring magazine
Bagg is an opinion guy, I like reading his views even if I don't agree with them and the guy is pretty funny. Sure I disagree with him about Mayweather-Pacquiao but the Ring is paying him to present his opinion. Think of it no different as the op-ed page of the Washington Post where you will read some crazy biased one side shit but with boxing. He's old-school saying what he believes, he's not a bad journalist. He's actually one of the really good things going for the Ring imo.

Yes he is. Any 'journalist' who spends the whole time referring to himself in the 3rd person like he does should be shot. He's like a US hattonthehammer except without the insight. The Ring might as well pay Hammer to present his opinion because that's all he's got. Also Amat, anything can be funny when you're stoned even snuff videos or Jim Bagg.

Bagg was annoying in one of Rings other magazines. How he graduated to the top level magazine makes me want to knock the baggoshit out of the bagglamebrained editor for making the baggridiculous decision to subject us to this baggilominoxious baggeretard.

The worst thing is that he finds way more opportunities to work his name into a paragraph then you could even feasibly manage there. I'm sure it would be 'Baggraduated to the Baggtop level Baggazine'. He must have something incriminating on the editor or Oscar because no sane editor would let him keep his job.
Re: Fuck the ring magazine
It's funny though he's a character and I usually don't like to do my reading stoned. I like Bagg, you can't have a magazine of total centrists like an online news site would, that doesn't work in magazines. This is one of the basics of a magazine outline. Look at sports illustrated and especially ESPN the magazine and you will see the same opinion columns. I've been reading the Ring for a while now to the point where I think he is a nice balance for a magazine that really isn't much good overall.

They have poor excuses for why they believe Mayweather is at fault, and they are as a biased as Dan Rafael. As for who was scared of whom, can somebody refresh my memory on who fought Clottey and who is fighting Mosley? In hind sight its easy to say Mayweather has ducked everyone, but at the time he fought the right people at the right time, when they were considered among the most challenging options for him. Baldomir was considered the top welterweight when Mayweather fought him(and made the same offer Margarito did at the time of $8million minimum to fight). Oscar just destroyed Mayorga and Floyd moved up to face him. Hatton was the p4p best guy around those divisions when Floyd fought him, and yes Hatton was bigger than him.
I'm not trying to say Floyd has faced everyone or even has close to the resume Pacquiao, Ray Leonard, Hearns, Duran, etc. have, but he has foughten a lot of good fighters and shouldn't be considered a guy who ducks opposition. As is shown with this fight against Mosley, he is willing to fight anyone, sure it the right money needs to be involved, but Floyd isn't afraid to fight anyone in boxing. It just needs to make sense financially.
THAT'S CALLED SUBJECTIVE JOURNALISM WHICH SHOULD BE PRACTICED BTW.
For example, i won't complain that you're not even blaming
both for all of this. Pac has reasons. In the em-pac1 didn't you know that they took his blood twice? The first blood transfusion suddenly went missing from the doctor's records so a week before the fight they took blood again from him the second time. Thus his reason why he felt weak during the fight and didn't seem to hurt EM at all! Add the fact the headbutt too. There is a video of that as a proof, right after the fight way back in 2005.
Also if both had blood taken from them who do you think would benefit more? It's pbf since he weighs as a middleweight before fights. Pac's frame is welterweight at best.
See? That's what happens when you believe a crackhead's delusions. And then you complain when a journalist doesn't favor your opinions. At least basing it on pac's arguments he has basis to back up his claims. That's the answer to your questions why pac backed off. Give me a concrete evidence on pbf sr.'s a-side meth claims and
i'll wear a hello kitty avatar.
What blood transfusion are you reffering to? They don't do a blood transfusion for a blood test. They take a minute amount of blood which the body recovers in less than an hour.
The main excuses they made for Pacquiao's lose to Erik were
1. He wasn't allowed to wear Reyes.
2. He had the wrong socks on.
I also haven't placed the blame solely on Pacquiao, I just said they are making every out to look like Mayweather is ducking Manny when in fact both sides are to blame. I think Pacquiao should be allowed to ask for 10 million dollars for every pound above 147, it was discraceful for Mayweather to come in at 146 against Marquez. That really pissed me off. But it also really pisses me off about the pleuthora of lame excuses Manny's camp has made about not wanting to take blood which are totally rediculous. That being said I think Mayweather's camp made a big deal out of the steroids just to get into Manny's head, and in that sense its their fault for bringing something up I don't feel has any credence, to me Manny is a clean fighter, but he is just letting his ego get the better of him. I think they both want to fight, but they also want something that will allow them to have a mental edge over eachother. But the fact is neither of them will have a complete resume without the other simply because how can you not face far and away the best other guy in the sport when they are in your weight division, you two are the most popular fighters and the fight is being asked for by virtually every sports fan.

That was the excuse for not officially beating JMM.
No Reyes on the contract and the accidental headbutt that was declared "from a punch" was the 2 main excuses for Erik Morales I.
:D

You're not reading my post well, mate.
I said it's the first fight with EM or Erik Morales in short. I did not even mention JMM.
JMM is in the past. He has amir khan on his radar while pac has PBF. If pac and jmm meets again for the 3rd time, Pac will win by ko against jmm given pac's recent streak at the 140-147 division.
Re: F#%k the ring magazine
I think Jim Bagg is hilarious.

If you're really blaming both sides, why is it in your first post that you seem to be siding more with pbf?
You should have made clear that you blame both sides at the onset of this thread. ;)
Anyways i already gave you the reason why pac doesn't want to have blood taken from this fight, and that first fight with EM was one.
Two even if both guys (pbf and pac) have their blood taken at the same time: the clear advantage is for pbf since he is the heavier fighter.
Third: you're right. Pac's pride. Pac doesn't want to bow down to a guy who wants to force his ways like he is the friggin king of this sport.
Why did'nt pbf did that to all of his opponents before? (the blood tests?)
Seriously if sr. didn't opened his mouth and pbf didn't followed through with the demands i won't see no problems of this fight not happening!
What do you think of the last line taeth? Do you agree with that?
