Personally I think Haye beats the pair of them. I really dont see either Klit being anything special at all. I think Vitali is the harder fight due to he fact he has a granite chin. I remember 'that' uppercut Lewis landed would have taken out pretty much any heavyweight, but Vitali took it without barely blinking. I really believe Haye has the footwork and speed to make the very ponderous Vitali look silly, I really do.
As for Wlad, well this guy is just one-punch from Haye away from being put to sleep. I have never rated Wlad's chin, and someone with Haye's speed, angles and power should be enough to take Wald out with ease. I was very impressed with Haye's dismantling of Ruiz, it was cold and calulated. He didnt take risks because he didnt need to. He didnt need to go looking for the knockout, because with his type of speed and power, it's always going to come. My one concern was Haye's low right hand, but if the 4 week lack of sparring is correct as Adam stated, there is plenty of time to work on that.
I dont understand where this idea that either Klit's are unbeatable. I havent been very impressed with either of them to be honest. Vitali looked his best against an out of shape Lewis, and that was ages ago. Both of them for me are far too robotic. I think Wlad is techically the better boxer, but Vitali has the whiskers. Haye beats both for me. He knocks out Wlad, then he outboxes Vitali over the distance. I personally think that Haye's footwork and upperbody movement is seriously under-rated. This is a guy that doesnt just have fast hands, he has fast everything. And in a division as cumbersome as the current heavyweight elites, he has a great chance.
Just my 2 cents.
I agree with this post. Haye has a great chance against both Klits. Wlad is just too chinny and I don't see Haye not connecting at all. Only a retard who has never actually watched Haye could possibly think that Chambers or anyone Wlad has fought for that matter is faster than Haye in either foot or hand and I honestly think he is the hardest puncher Wlad will have fought when they do eventually meet.
As for Vitali, he just looked so robotic last time out, and lets face it he knew it and that is why he is fighting someone that I honestly think Audley would have beaten when they were due to meet next week. In fact i'd rather have seen Vitali fight Audley seeing as he had just called Klit out the week before too. Haye is almost ready to take over this stagnent division now and drive the life back into the greatest sport in the world.

Without question haye is the biggest threat too the brothers out their. I think they no this too. If a wlad haye fight came off haye is testing that chin more than once cause wlad is so upright no lateral movement.I think the speed difference will tell so much and see haye slipping the jab all night then boom, unloading with that left hook right hand, would be shocked if wlad can take those shots all night

Agreed Paddy. I dont understand how people think that Wlads jab wont countered with Haye superfast right hand. Haye is a very clever fighter, he'll drill the countering of that jab for fun. Speed is the killer here, and Wlad quite literally just wont know whats hit him.

Yeah speed for me too. He nos how to use it with great effect. Been hearing alot about how Hayes head movement is lacking. I actually think the opposite and think he has great all round movement.anyway I think haye can expose wlad in the worst kind of way
Re: David Haye won't beat either Klitschko
True to British Boxing, Haye will beat them both, unify the division......................
............... Then lose them all to Audley in a battle of Britain! Who will then lose them back to the Klitschos.
I can see it happening.

Lol
Re: David Haye won't beat either Klitschko
i don't know which would be a better opponent for Haye, Wlad has a suspect chin but a very good defense and he fights taking no chances and then we have Vitali who does take chances and has a more open defense so really Vitali would be the more logical fight giving Haye a much better chance! ....i think:confused

I think vitali is the tougher fight

100% agree Jimmy!
I see Haye beating both...Wlads chin wouldn't stand up to Haye and he (Haye) is too fast and would def get through his robojab allowing him to land some power shots.
Vitali is too old and slow imo and i doubt david would put him away by Ko/TKO but i can def see him doing what he done to Valuev and gaining a points win by a wide margin.
I'd bet heavily on both the above.
I think Haye/Booth are both wise enough and would employ the correct tactics to Scalp both these Klits and unify the titles.
The Wlad fight would be a way better spectacle than a Vitali fight and he'd have to fight totally different fights but Haye has already proven he can play safe and mix it and is it me or is his jab getting better with each fight?
Let's not forget he stopped sparring 4/5 weeks ago which became evident when he panicked and went for the blast out in the first wasting loads of wild punches;)
No doubt at all in my mind he can unify the belts!

And even then, Purity won because K got his shoulder badly injured toward the end of the fight otherwise he was leading greatly on point on every 3 cards... Plus let's consider the fact that the K were promoting the card and that he was helping the staff to build the ring etc just before the match. I think we can give Haye a slight chance varying from slim to none but there is a wee percentage that it might happen somewhere somehow but All my money will be on the Ukrainian side would this fight happen.
lol, injured, promoting, helped build the ring... anything else? Was his morning shower too cold? did he forget his Weetabix too!? ;D :P
Re: David Haye won't beat either Klitschko
Funny, but I was thoroughly on the "haye has no chance against the Klits" wagon even up until a couple of fights ago but I can really see Haye pulling this one out the bag now.
If we look at all of their last outings, although I wasn't impressed with Haye against Valuev and thought he wasn't busy enough, he's looked better than both Klit's who may as well have had dead bodies in the ring with them.
Haye has fought 2 live opponents and shown superb maturity - I too feel he beats both fighters and you just never know...Haye might even knock Vitali out - Valuev had never been hurt before Haye put jelly in his legs so why not Vitali? I imagine Haye will be busier in a fight against Vitali as he is far more "reachable" than Valuev was.
Factor in Vitali's age and you get the feeling a good puncher like Haye might be able take advantage of an age-weary Vitali and expose his potentially softening beard.
For this to happen he'll need to be busier than the Valuev fight and he might not want to take the risk but I certainly see it as a possibility.
I hope he does unify - I'm sick to death of the frankestein brothers. Is there nobody in the division between 6''4 and 6''8 who is actually in fair shape and can hit a bit??? I swear that would be enough to give them a challenge?
Re: David Haye won't beat either Klitschko
Tyson Fury, Sam Sexton all coming through. (as long as they don't bottle it in a big fight)
I tell you one thing, if either fight happens, I will be facinated by it. Biggsest heavyweight fight for a very long time. It's got the story for it as well, 2 brothers.
Even if Haye fights and loses, I hope he then takes on the other brother. The potential PPV from it all could be huge. The next 2 years could and should hold some of the biggest fights in history. A 100,000 Wembley fight would be historic.
Re: David Haye won't beat either Klitschko
Haye's chances are improving as he gets more wins, experience and confidence in the division. he is generating real interest and should wait a little bit longer so that the Klits show some sign of weakness and then pounce on them.
Otherwise he will lose to either of them next.

It makes senses for Haye to continue to dodge the Klistchko's because he has a decent shot at beating and making good money against other top ten contenders. Haye will fight Valuev over the summer and then wait out the year hoping they retire. He should take on the winner of the Adamek/Arreola fight or fight a Sam Peter or a David Tua - exciting fights with known fighters who aren't as big risks as the Klitschko's.

I say he probably takes on an Eddie Chambers, Evander Holyfield, Adamek type of opponent before the year is out. I don't see him fighting the Klt bros within the next 2 or 3 years.
