For the record I have no doubt Haye will fight the Klits, he really does want to be unified champ. Very honest interview from Haye, admits to his flaws. Big props to Ruiz too, very gracious in defeat. He also says Haye is the quickeest he has ever fought...

Apparently Ruiz got hit so hard he forgot he ever fought Roy Jones Jr.
The real Roy Jones not the corpse we saw the other night.
Re: Ruiz: "Haye is a credit to British Boxing. Worthy champ"
And now all the Brits LOVE John Ruiz because although he's not an aesthetically pleasing fighter to watch he has CLASS which apparently no Brits have anymore or at least their boxers don't have anymore. In the US we have a bunch of thugs too but we also have some very classy fighters

There is no coincidence that all of Haye's opponents at heavyweight have been caught completely out of the blue by his speed and hurt early on, usually within the first couple of punches thrown. His speed will cause serious issues for the big guys, and his punches carry some fierce snap. If his chin hold out, Haye is one seriously dangerous argument to contend with. I just hope he doesnt let it all go to his head like he did with Thompson, and slip up again. Hopefully he has learnt his lesson, because in this division, he will get hurt if he is not 100% focused.
Thats my worry, he doesn't get caught up in "Hatton Mania" as it should now be known. When a fighter gets caught up in his own abilities after being put on a throne by fans.
With that poor defence, the jab/ straight right combo from either Klitscho would be quick enough to get through and hurt him.
He seems a far more focused boxer now than years ago so I'm sure he can take the pressure and not lose the plot in the ring.
I also worry about Haye doing a bit to much "celebrity" work.
Fine when you're not in training, but to appear at Old Trafford on the day of a fight is a little casual for me. At least Haye won't balloon in weight like Hatton did/does.

He reminds me of Michael McIntyre.

BRITISH heavyweight champ of the world and no.1 contender to the klits, and did I mention he's BRITISH. Get over it.

If Haye was from the U.S. he'd be the greatest fighter that ever lived.......FACT!;D
Re: Ruiz: "Haye is a credit to British Boxing. Worthy champ"
Good win for him but TBH I am tired of his endless talk....I can care less who is offended....I don't want to hear the Brit Bashing comments or Hater comments...
Haye has run his mouth from day one...Haye has talked about how great he is even before the KO loss to Thompson in 2004....
Thus far careful planning has gone into Haye's success thus far as in the choice of opp for him....At CW there was lack of anything to really test him except for Cunningham, he took a powder before a fight with Adamek could generate interest...
The win over Valuev while good because he won a title belt legit...But Valuev is a bum and everyone knows it...He was lucky and got gift decisions against Ruiz in Germany....
I would not be so hard on Haye if he did not talk so big and act so classless....Any so called CHAMPION who harasses another champion in airports at hotels etc like Haye has to Wlad...Talks all the shit he has about Vitaly then when had the opp to fight them BOTH found one way or another for the fight not to happen is not a fighter I would want to call world champion regardless of where they are from.....
I can talk shit, make computer generated pictures and claim to be the best as well but it doesn't make it so...
Haye needs to put up or shut up and if he REALLY wants to fight the Klitschkos no WBA mandatory will derail that....How many champions have given up titles to face the best and take what they have?.....To be the REAL champion you have to beat the other belt holders and claim the Ring strap...or at least beat the best guy in the division...Hell at least best 5 of the top 10!!!
It starts here
http://www.chessbase.com/images2/2002/klitschko05.jpg
and ends here
http://www.swissbudo-portal.ch/wPort...schko55_gr.jpg
Both have made perfectly understandable they will MAKE time on their schedules...
HAYE NEEDS TO MAKE TIME ON HIS
Until then he is a loud mouth trying to not only convince the public but himself of what he is saying is true

That's what I thought, but then again who would have a better assessment, us watching on TV or the guy in the ring with him?
Haye isn't Ali or Tyson when it comes to speed, but I saw someone on here (almost certainly ICB) actually say Larry Holmes had quicker hands. I mean c'mon now. He's easily the quickest HW out there right now.
Re: Ruiz: "Haye is a credit to British Boxing. Worthy champ"
He's got fast hands, he's got fantastic mobility compared to all the fat plodders who just march at the Klitschkos in straight lines, he comes at you from lots of different angles, he's got good power at heavyweight. He's got a hell of a lot more going for him than any other not-put-together-in-a-laboratory heavyweight out there. And he speaks excellent English for somebody who comes from south London.
Re: Ruiz: "Haye is a credit to British Boxing. Worthy champ"
No one was faster then RJJ.
But good respect from Ruiz to Haye.
Re: Ruiz: "Haye is a credit to British Boxing. Worthy champ"
David Haye is an overblown cruiser weight.
At heavy weight, he's a bum.

Honest to God just reading the title of the thread I thought this was going to be all about Andy Ruiz Jr trolling the shit out of Anthony Joshua HAHAHAHA
Re: Ruiz: "Haye is a credit to British Boxing. Worthy champ"
Haye was a top fighter , some punchers suffered bad hands , Haye of course was plagued with brittle toes.
