Mayweather style is very entertaining, he does things nobody else can do. I would rather watch that a million times than watch two limited guys bang away at eachother. Sure if PAcquiao and Cotto fight its a different story, but for the most part he is way more exciting than most fighters out there.Quote:

I see where you are coming from, but Floyd is an aquired taste. I prefer to watch someone like Toney, who has slickness but will still take an opponent into the trenches. I also love to watch Joe Calzaghe, who isn't slick, but brings the fight, has great ouput and is very versatile. Those are two contrasting styles that I really enjoy. I agree that someone like Margarito is ugly, he has a high punch output which should appeal to me, but is so crude and limited, and that actually puts me off.Quote:

If we picked out his last fights which other one was boring besides Baldomir?
alright, Corley, Bruseles, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir(boring), De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez.
Which of those besides Baldomir was boring?
I pointed out Baldomir and Marquez, but would also add the DLH fight as nothing much was happening there besides potshotting. Even the Hatton fight is tedious. Good to watch the first time, but neither fighters are throwing punches. Not a fun fight to watch really. The other fights do have their moments; especially the Gatti one. If only Floyd would open up earlier against more opponents, but he plays it so safe. That does turn people off.

Reading you folks fall all over yourselves trying to hate on Floyd is very entertaining. He said he's an entertainer, that he has personality beyond his fighting skills. He didn't say that his identity as an entertainer was in his boxing style. You can't even respond to what he says, you have to twist it into something else, and then use it to hate on him.
Go ahead, hate on him all you want. just don't expect to be taken too seriously. You'll be hating on him after he beats Sugar shane and after he beats Manny. He'll do everything you have said he need to do to be considered and ATG and still you will find excuses to consider him less than he is.

Try to keep up with tense..."fought" is past participle. "Sat by" also means a passage of time has occurred. And I didn't mention pacquiao once, but it seems your head is so far up floyd's ass that everything said about him means he's not getting credit so you go into your kevin Costner bodyguard role. Point is while there's isn't probably anyone that can right now other than mosley or pac that can at WW legitimately beat him. floyd v hatton (small man, that floyd only fought after collazo exposed him)
floyd v JMM (please, no explanation needed)
Floyd v Baldoblaster (not smaller but def didn't belong in the ring)
floyd v odlh (old out shape fading big name money fight, but certainly wasn't a real threat)
So yeah fighting shane is a great fight, but the fact is he is 38 years old and has been in wars, fighting floyd is win win for shane. Floyd however is in a bad situation because he could have easily fought Cotto, shane, margo, and clottey all before pac even moved up or before they tore each other to shreds. And there wouldn't be any reasonable doubt had floyd won those fights he'd be recognized as best since RJJ..
