Betting the ring will be the size of a walk in closet ;).Style wise I dont see many clamoring to fight Foreman....and even less 'main street' ticket buyers appreciating a pure boxer and watching with anticipation.Either way..Arum wins though.
There are tens of thousands of Jewish Yankees fans and the Yankees are giving this the big sell, I haven't bought a ticket in nearly ten years and I've had half a dozen emails already. I'm just wondering if Arum knows there's a vast untapped NY market for a Jewish world champion. Like you say though Arum wins either way.

My wife and I will the only two Jews in a room full of Puerto Rican representation for this fight. Hopefully I'll get some support from mi amiga Dominicana and her Nicaraguan baby-daddy.
Re: Anybody else smell an upset with Cotto/Foreman?
I am not sure what the upset would be? Cotto lost his last 3 fights in my eyes, and Foreman is coming off his biggest win. I think Santos was obviously bothered by the weight he agreed to, but Yuri still looked like a pretty solid fighter.
Soo if by upset, you mean Cotto wins, then no I do not smell an upset. I think this is a stylistic nightmare for Cotto, who is digging deep by moving up in weight after losing at a catch weight below welter.
Don't be deceived by the color of his skin!
Re: Anybody else smell an upset with Cotto/Foreman?
Cotto wins this, Foreman does not punch hard enough to deter Cotto.

Foreman, born in Belarus but now a confirmed Yankee fan, is preparing to become a rabbi. As he will be observing his Sabbath until sundown on Saturday, June 5, the first bell for the main event will not ring until 11.30 pm. That will also give New York's large Jewish population time to reach the stadium and help swell the crowd to an expected 35,000.

Re: Anybody else smell an upset with Cotto/Foreman?
Nope I can not smell an upset. I think this will be a bad beating for Foreman. Foreman does not have the speed of Pacquiao or Mosley and he doesn't use bricks in his gloves. Cotto will simply cut the ring and destroy the body. Cotto by TKO in six.
Re: Anybody else smell an upset with Cotto/Foreman?
i think cotto will man handle him, cotto is a decent boxer himself, he did great against mosley.....foreman donesnt have what it takes to beat cotto
Re: Anybody else smell an upset with Cotto/Foreman?
I can see it happening, imo its quite an even match-up! Who knows what Cotto has left? Foreman has excellent fundamentals & boxes to his strengths. Cotto could be in for a long night...
