Yeah but he has the crowd on his side this time, unlike the Coke Head and Ward fights so maybe it will give him an extra boost...

The more I think about it the more I fancy Kessler. Maybe Kessler is done. But he's worth a chance just down to the old adage - styles make fights.
Jesus bamboozled Kessler with speed, angles, movement and output. His other loss was similar. And in both he was away from home.
Froch wont pose those problems. Froch is bringing toughness, tenacity, confidence and is less exposed. But Froch will also be the slower man, not have a greater punch frequency and most importantly Kessler will have success whacking his big nose which will raise his confidence and the home crowd cheers.
Before Kessler's loss to Ward, i predicted Kessler would toy with Froch for the whole fight and eventually stop him.
My opinion has changed though.
Although Kessler still has the ability to control Froch's pressure behind his jab, Froch's ability to make it a rough fight makes it interesting because Kessler has shown to bet frustrated with dirty tactics. Also include that Froch has a good right hand, is durable and strong and i think he could cause the upset and......... by stoppage.
For the time being, i ain't picking a winner although i'm starting to edge towards Froch.
Very tough one to pick for me... going for Froch though on Points/late stoppage
I think Kessler might get old in this fight and that Froch is by far the hungrier fighter. ;)
Put it this way i wouldn't put money on this one
Froch wins by stoppage , if he isnt a paper tiger , because Kessler is and always was only a good fighter. To limited .
I'm going with Froch.
He simply has more to fight for. Yes there is the Super 6 tournament, potential superstardom and loads of moolah to be made from winning these big fights.
But Froch is fighting for something more.
As an ugly man, he's fighting to keep the incredibly hot looking girl he has. Kessler is a fine looking young man and would attract the ladies whether successful or not, but the only way Froch keeps his relationship going is if he keeps winning.
He must know that defeat condemns him to relations with the kind of fat birds that had me bolting the door and hiding under my bed last night. Looking at the Cobra's face, you know he's been there, that's probably why his nose is the way it is, wilted and deformed from being between the legs of two ton crusher thighs. That pale look isn't natural, it's the look of a man who has seen a morbidly obese woman naked and touching herself.
He won't want to go back there, and faced with that image he will find the will to win, whatever the challenge.
Oh for fuucks sakes at the same age Calzaghe had been a champ for 8 years;D
Beating Kessler now does not compare to the fighter that Calzaghe fought. Iv doubts about Kesslers heart now after that fight, he fought well in there but since, hes looked mediocre, when he was battering a fresh Andrade and wiping out Beyer I thought it was a big ask for Calzaghe at the late stage of his career to be able to dominate as much as he did against such a good young proven champion!!
Froch is still yet to face a world rated super middle believe it or not! Taylor was an ex middle who was dropped by Lacy before winning on points and had been beaten by another middle weight, thats all he had at supermiddle, nothing to say he was world class at the weight and Taylor had he lasted would have beaten Carl, he even dropped him hard!
Pascal has gone on to prove himself a bit but to say hed been wobbled badly, Froch couldnt dent him and he hadnt fought any decent fighters to that point either, same goes for Dirrell who, when he did fight, was outboxing Carl easy!!
Carl has been stronger than his opponents and had to gut out wins, he hasnt outskilled anyone. If Kessler has any hunger left he out points Froch!
I'am slightly siding with Kessler Froch is to easy to hit and he will be infront of Kessler all night, both have a decent chin although Froch has been getting hurt since he has moved up to world level. But most important thing i see in this fight is their defence's and i have to favour Kessler's. I'am going for kessler by late stoppage or points win.
After wot Bilbo said I am changing my vote to Froch 100% :),
If Kessler doesn't win this fight then picking him in future fights starts to become blind faith.
And losing three in a row would make him a foolish pick against anyone respectable.
I think he can win this one though
I wonder how much Kessler's confidence is battered. Froch is unbeaten and will have more belief( although was talking like he's already lost on the radio earlier) I'm going for Froch but both are average in terms of world class imo
Froch to stop him late.
