Re: I Seen Hatton Sat Night After The Fight...
Let it go boys, Hatton needs to retire. As much as you don't want the last 2 fights of your career to be loses (and brutal KO's at thatl) all you're setting yourself up for is even more sad and dissapointing loses but to B level fighters. Look at Roy Jones Jr. You want that for your man Hatton?? I think not. It doesn't matter how old he is, it comes down to how many fights you have in your body. If Ricky been boiling down from 180lb to 140lb for most of his career he's already taken years off his life and drinking a partying isn't helping.
I was a huge RJJ fan but I haven't watched one of his fights in years. I choose to remember his prime instead of whatever the hell this is right now.
Re: I Seen Hatton Sat Night After The Fight...
Damn, he REALLY balloons, I don't understand how he does it. If he just had the nerve to stay decent weight, he might have been elite. That binge drinking will get you though. Not only with weight but it erodes your coordination, your cognitive function, and kills brain cells. And if you're a boxer, you don't wanna be losing anymore brain cells than you have to.
Re: I Seen Hatton Sat Night After The Fight...
Hatton's done, no way he is ever coming back. Why doesnt he just man up and tell the whole world, that's my problem with him.
Re: I Seen Hatton Sat Night After The Fight...
No doubts that he's done. Someone like Hatton can't take two years off and comeback and be anywhere near the same. Heck, he binged between bouts constantly even in his prime.
